8 reviews for Retreat Nails
ok kids. so this is waaaay out of my 'yelp radius' but i was visiting a friend in Saratoga and she took me here.
Pro's:
-suuuuuper clean (sanitzed instruments in ind'l packets-costco sized 3-pack of clorox bleach sitting in the bathroom storage shelf)
-good music
-nice smelling incense burning
-open and airy
-OPI Nail polish
-new paint/floors/modern
-not swarming with customers
Con-(minus 1 star)
$50 for mani/pedi. OUCH!
where i come from its $35.
damn you bay area inflation!
I have been going here off and on for over two years ( once a quarter at minimum) and they are consistant! Best chairs around, I feel like I am getting a mini massage...from neck to tail bone, from tail bone to the back of my knees.
But Jenny and crew are amazing. She is willing to take text messages for regulars to book apts, most gals know how to give a good leg and arm massage, admittedly some are harder than others, but I like mine deep tissue style.
The prices are fair, this is no chop shop. They care about their customers and love regulars. I feel at home, love the cleanliness, and can even bring in a bottle of wine for me and a friend to share. They are lovely ladies and I like talking to them, but are really good when I just say, "today I need quiet."
Everything is clean, sterlized packages for every person too. They are regularly updating their polishes and decor, they care about their business.
I will admit this is one of the more positive reviews I have given so that will hopefully give you some insight to my extensive review and opinion.
I have been coming here ever since it opened. The ladies are very nice! The salon is super clean and I can always get an appointment on the day and time I want. They have every color carried by OPI. This is a great place to reserve for a girls day out party and all get mani/pedi's, they are so accomodating! You need to come here for all your nail services and I promise you won't want to go anywhere else but here!
I've been 3 times, and I'm so impressed: very clean, super-comfy spa chairs, reasonable prices, friendly people, and unbelievably good foot and hand massages.
One time my 5 year-old came with me. He felt so welcome that we did a nail trim for him, too, and he loved it. (And I loved not battling him about nail care for once!)
Love going here because it is clean and do a great job. Though recently my manicure didn't last 2 days. Also I think it may go to cash or check only as they don't want to take credit cards. For someone like me who hardly carries cash it is a bit of an annoyance.
Great place to get your nails done! I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and two customers had just left , leaving the place customer-free during my visit. The salon is clean and modern. $50 for a mani/pedi and no extra charge for french, yay! There was the owner's mother lounging in a chair next to mine that was chattering away in Vietnamese and that was a bit distracting (hence -1 star) but the technicians were friendly and did a great job.
love them :]
Trust me, I have been to every single nail spa in Saratoga and this one makes the top two. My favorite place (hands down) is Preston Wynne, but that is reserved for special ocassions since it is so pricey. My second favorite place, and the place I go to on a regular basis, is Retreat Nails. The spa is clean, the women that work there are friendly and welcoming, and the prices are great. The best part is the quality of the manicure and pedicure because they really take their time with the clipping, shaping, massaging, polishing etc. I never feel like they are rushing to get to the next customer. I really enjoy my visits to Retreat Nails!
