The store is a four, but the five it to help average it out for all the dumb people who gave it a two because they think it's expensive. Restoration Hardware in general is expensive, outlet or not. Just because it's one season old or has a minor imperfection, doesn't mean they have to give it away with drastic discounts.

Pros: An example couches that are $5000 in the actual retail store are $4000 at the outlet and if you're lucky sometimes you can save another 20% or more off the lesser price depending on how long the couch has been at the outlet. The employees are super helpful. And if you're smart and can wait, it's an additional 30% off of the lowest marked price on Black Friday.

Cons: It's hard to find a complete set and yes there are damage and imperfect items, but sometimes the discount is worth looking past the imperfection.

Overall: If you're expecting everything to be super cheap, this isn't the right store, but if you're looking to save some money or have the patience to shop you can find some really good deals. Past finds I got a $2200 table for $199, it had a large wood chip on the bottom of the table, no one can see it. We also got a $750 bathroom shelf for $75 that had been in the store for too long. My wife found two $450 lamps for $49 each. The bargains are there.

I think something that people need to keep in mind when they complain about the prices is 1. you don't have to buy it and 2. the furniture is good quality so yeah it's expensive. You can go to target and get a table set with chairs for under $500 but how long do you expect it to last. This place has hearty furniture, we're talking all real wood not veneer crap. Sometimes you get what you paid for, so what if you have to dig around a little to find it these pieces of furniture overall are very nice and better than you'd find at a lot of other furniture places.

Love love love Restoration Hardware.  But the help, ugh.  I searched through all the slippers looking for a particular size for about 15 minutes and not once did someone come over and ask if needed assistance.  Needless to say I didn't buy any slippers.  Is this because it's an outlet? They let out all their customer service when they were hired?  I didn't experience this at any of the other stores that night.  Restoration hardware needs to restore some customer service in their hard lines!

All the whiners need to go back to IKEA and stay out of my happy place.

For a fraction of the original price, I've gotten dining chairs, picture frames, wall hooks, drawers pulls, pillar candles, a marble salt cellar, and INSPIRATION for my home.

I was shocked at the prices in this outlet...wow!!

The furniture, rugs, lamps, accessories and more were not even half price, and many were is very bad shape.

DD got a cute frame trio for a gift, and the price was good.  I toyed with getting some towels, but couldn't find the right colors/sizes.

I will be back if I ever need a lampshade...they were nice!!

Sure enough a few weeks after our RH visit, we received a phone call for items that we were looking for.  Unfortunately, there was too much damage on the item and we had to decline the purchase.  I do have to give props to them for following through with a phone call.... from an outlet store no less!

This is the place to go if you're looking for that one piece to complete your home.

This is the place to go if you're hoping to find comfortable furniture.

This is not the place to go for toys. I could never understand why they sell toys and crappy toys at that. If I were given any of those toys today, I would stage a huge revolt!

I give them major cred for their awesome stylish pieces and furniture but you go in there expecting to see some scratches or imperfections. This is one of those outlet stores that want to move the product no matter how it looks. If you do find the perfect piece with minimal imperfections, you've scored big time my friend!

Even at half off the original price, most of the stuff in the large Vacaville outlet store seems way overpriced for what it is and unfortunately it's a dumping ground for seriously damaged/flawed furniture.

I went in to look at their bathroom vanities and found the one I was interested in was severely damaged with a big chunk of veneer out of the front and one end of the cabinet literally barely hanging on. Originally $1550 (without counter), marked down with additional bath sale to $745. Still way too much for the condition it was in. Other vanities and countertops in similar state of disrepair, a cute little bench...so wobbly it wouldn't support an adult priced at $395. Riiiiiight.

Now that I've seen what a little wear and tear does to their products, I just may be cured from ever wanting to go to an RH again. Eek! What are they thinking? A scratch or a chip is one thing. This is more like a show room for the irreparable.

Pretty good prices with all their sales and extra discounts. However, it can be difficult to find matching items (for example, bed sheets, shirts, pillow cases).

For furniture, if you know what you're looking for and don't mind "open box" the prices are really good (off retail).

Unfortunately, there are no returns on some items so double check your items before purchasing...

This place is nestled in on the Nike side of the VV outlets. If you turn left from Nut Tree Drive then go right around the median thing and go straight back all the way straight you will see it!!

This is not a Home Depot. No no my friend. It's more like a home furnishing store. There is lots of furniture and bedding and doorhandles and lamps. And everything is expensive!! I saw two beautiful huge brown leather chairs that reminded me of upside down capes and I had someone check the price for me... 12 something... meaning 1200+, +tax too!! *GASP*!!!! ok, something less extravagant. An Ottoman... 500... ahhhh!!! And the quilts weren't cheap either my friend. But this is the "outlets" and so those beautiful chairs are just going to have to wait for me.. untill I hit the lotto...

    *SIGH*

    What.. a girl can dream!

    So check it out!
I love Restoration Hardware but as anyone knows that shops there it's expensive! So out for an afternoon drive with the wife to the Vacaville outlets and POW there it is. The clouds cleared and the angels sang and we arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We walked in and the place is pretty big with a ton of furniture. They have tables stacked on top of each other and rows of couches and other good stuff. We bought two NICE couches, and a dinning room set for about $4500. The Dinning room table was 90% off!!!

The place is killer, just bring your own truck because they don't deliver.

Not overly impressed...prices seemed steep.  There are a few deals to be had, but overall there wasn't anything great.  I was able to get a set of really classy looking dresser type frames for a decent price.

this is an outlet and the prices are still outrageous for all the scratched/damaged furniture that is supposed to be 'on sale'. Everything in here was marked down from the original super high store prices. This is the third time I've stopped in here in the past year and seems like the same bedframes/couches are here because they are priced too high to sell...

My husband and I visited the Vacaville Restoration Hardware warehouse and was pleasantly pleased.  We purchased a 3200 table (no flaws) for 699 with another 15% off.  The gorgeous chairs 495 a piece were 60% off.  We're extremely pleased.   Many other good sales.  A coffee table normally 1695 for 900 with another 15% off.  It was well worth the visit.  Now I have to wait and see if they get the chandelier that I want.
They referred us to a 3rd. party to deliver. He was so nice, efficient and reasonably priced.  Out experience was great!!!

I agree with other reviewers that there aren't a lot of deals here.  But that's not what shapes my experience in this place.  What astounds me is the over-the-top sales force that descends upon you.   I'm a shopper.  I like to cruise through my spots on a regular basis.  I buy things.  This place might have become one of those places, but EVERY time I go in, I get bombarded by smiley youngsters who keep asking me how I'm doing, whether I need help, etc.  They literally shout at you when you walk in.  Even a jokey "hey, we're going to have to cut you off the caffeine supply" or a more pointed "I'll let you know if I need something" doesn't faze them.  One guy stalked me, pretending to fold stuff.  I couldn't tell if he was salivating at the thought that I might spring for a couch or was worried I might stuff a couch into my purse. Downright freaky. Certainly a lot of retailers need to get the message that aggressive friendliness can be annoying and actually drive away customers.  But this particular store really needs to hear that.  Cuz I'm not going back.
