I live in Eastie and have ordered takeout from here several times and have always been happy. I could tell they cared based on the way they packed the food in lots of individual containers so it wasn't all one sloppy mess by the time it made it to my door. The contents were pretty tasty, too.
I went here the other night with a friend. I wasn't surprised because almost all Central American restaurants are amazing. The portions are huge and delicious for a modest price. Although the waitress didn't understand most of my English, my Spanish sufficed. The food was very delicious and made me crave more. The service was accommodating and friendly and I had no complaints. I recommend this place because of its value.
Monte Cristo is yum. So many hispanic restaurants in East Boston and so few dare to venture out to them. Monte cristo is across from Shaws (well close enough) and serves wonderful food. The fried plantains servied with creme fraiche are so good. Its pretty easy to get to as well, i recommend. If only there was someone to join me in trying out all these places in Eastie.

when you go get the fresh jugo de pina. So delish! The glass comes filled with crushed pineapple and shredded carrots. So good. They also have very good fries and pupusa. This is also a good place for a large group of people. Friendly staff
