A hole in the wall where one must try the Papusas. A Papusa is a tortilla dough made from masa (or masa harina) and filled with cheese, meat, a combination of both, herbs, jalapenos, potatoes or refried beans. They serve the meat, cheese or combo versions here. El Salvadoreans eat theirs with Curtida (spicy cabbage similar to coleslaw) on top. They are juicy, delicious and easy on the wallet. I'd recommend taking them out, but plenty of people eat-in.
I hear the corn tamales are also good. Next trip.
