I just moved here in August from Chicago and was hoping that GrubHub was also in Minneapolis. Sadly theyr'e not, but Restaurant Connection definitely serves the need. I'm always able to find a couple options of restaurants delivering to my neighborhood (even during off hours), and delivery is pretty quick. I've never had an issue with my order or the delivery time. Also, I get updates to my cell phone that keep me posted on the status of my delivery.
I only wish there were a wider variety of restaurants. Also, the interface isn't especially visually pleasing or trust-inspiring - they could use a new graphic designer and user interface expert. -

I've used this service a few times on my business travel/ hotel stay to Minnie. The first experience was awful in that the food was delivered in almost 2 hours after placing my online order. I even called the restaurant and they said they were waiting for the delivery boy to come pick up the food.
Nonetheless I gave them 2 more tries and both times food was delivered within an hour. I like to have this restaurant delivery because food from room service can be pretty bad depending on where you stay. Price wise, you pay about the same for restaurant connection vs. room service - delivery charge is around $3-4 anyways.
This is a nice restaurant delivery option to have for business travelers. -

$6 delivery charge, high gratuity charges and the price they charge for food items is higher than what the restaurant advertises on their menu.

I used this service last night and it was pretty good. This is the only way to get Indian or sushi delivered to my house and the online ordering was VERY easy. Given that Pizza Hut now charges a $2.00 "fee" to deliver your pizza, I didn't think the $5.95 delivery fee was that outrageous. They did have minimum dollar amounts for orders, but it was 15.00 which was not that big of a deal, given that this is typically just over the cost of one entrée alone.
The food was good, but since it's not like they make the food, I won't bore you with the details. -

It's outrageously overpriced, what more can I say? Not only do they have really high ($5-10) delivery charges, but they also enforce a minimum order at most restaurants, which makes absolutely no sense at all. If you are paying for the delivery, no minimum order. That's how it works. A minimum order only makes sense when the delivery is complimentary and/or not more than a couple dollars, as it should be.
In other countries, free delivery of everything from fine cuisine to McDonald's is the norm! I don't understand why this concept is so difficult for Americans to understand... Just tip the driver a few bucks and off he goes on his scooter. Easy! -

This is a great service particularly for those who are away from home and want a convenient fix or for those who are not in the mood for cooking. The restaurant selection is fantastic and Restaurant Connection has been very good recently about delivering on time.

I use this occasionally when it's too cold for me to leave my apartment and it's the end of the semester so it makes no sense to go grocery shopping (or get grocery delivery) and they have always been on time with the food. However as others have stated, the delivery price is ridiculous. It's way overpriced and some restaurants also up their prices for delivery (as well as make the portions smaller for delivery). More often then not, you are not getting what you paid for. I would give them 1 star except the delivery is always prompt and the delivery guys have also been very nice.
