Review from Shani S.
So it's a Friday night and I get a call from friends asking us to join them for dinner... in Manor. Really?
They promise me I'll love the place. Can I just say that I love when people keep promises?!
The chips and salsa were very tasty - the white sauce which seems to be made of ranch dressing and some spices is quite yummy!
I ordered the fajitas, which were oh so delicious!! They had a hint of wine in the sauce, even! There were large amounts of vegetables (mushrooms, green and red bell peppers and onions) and meat. The tortillas were great, also.
I tasted a bite of my kiddos plates: cheese enchiladas with red sauce, quesadillas and soft tacos, and all were really great.
There was also a mariachi band playing and they were just so fun.
All in all, we had a great time, great food and I will go back someday. -

Ah, it appears I am the lucky first to be able to review a restaurant! Well, since I live in the bustling metropolis of Manor (12 miles east of Austin, TX), I figured I had better get a review out for my favorite local Mexican restaurant. If you ever find yourself in the area, stop by and have a dish of great Mexican food. I'd like to give it 4 stars, but it's kind of a stretch considering that the location isn't fabulous and the service is hit or miss (some days it's great, some days it's "meh"). So, 3 stars for service/ambience and 4 stars for food. On the subject of food:
Everything's good. I've had most of the Mexican dishes on the menu, and it's all reeeally good. The enchilada platter comes with 3 different enchiladas and 2 different kinds of sauces, plus a side of REAL Mexican rice and beans that all melds together in a wonderful concoction on your plate. The crunchy tacos are fried to perfection (not too hard, not greasy), and the horchata is awesome. Not too cinnamon-ny, not too watery.
However, by all means, TRY THE WHITE SALSA. I still haven't figured out if it's avocado based or what, but it's almost like a very thin and tangy avocado-ranch sauce that is AWESOME. Eating the chips and salsa is probably why I always take home half of my entree at the end of the meal!
It's not a very fancy place, but it's locally owned and operated, and I guarantee your hungry tummy won't be disappointed if you stop by.Listed in: Mmmmm...chips and salsa...., My Neighborhood

I go here all the time. Good food. They use to have awful service. It isn't the great now, but they have gotten better. Avoid Fridays if you don't want to deal with a Mariachi band. But otherwise, good place.
Note that this place can be a hit or miss. I have come here and thought I would never come back and other times I loved it. So if you don't like it once, try again.
After all, they are the best Mexican restaurant in Manor. -

I just moved to Manor and was glad to find a good Mexican restaurant less than 5 minutes from my house. The food is fantastic and the staff is pretty friendly. I've already eaten here a few times and will surely visit again.

Best Mexican food this side of town. Especially good after a round of golf at Shadowglen.

I love the food. On Friday's they have a Mexican mariachi band. The creamy jalapeno sauce is great.

I love this place. I eat here at least once a week. The service is hit or miss. But the food makes up for it. I've had most of the menu, but I can't seem to stop ordering the fish tacos. They are the best around. I am very picky about me seafood, but these always taste awesome. Both salsas are very good as well. I haven't had any of the deserts or the drinks, but the food is well worth the trip. I'm lucky the traffic isn't to bad driving all the way around the corner to get here.
