Maybe I got the only bad room in at this Residence Inn, but I thought this place was pretty awful. I recognize that literally hundreds if not thousands of people have occupied the same room that I am staying in when I'm at a hotel, but I've never been so confronted by this realization as when I stayed at this Residence Inn. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it's about the cheapest place around.

We just got married in Livermore and used this as our primary hotel for us and our guests. First of all the management was flexible and a joy to work with. Several times we had to increase our room count for the wedding rate and they accomodated us each time. The best thing about this place besides the clean and well kept rooms, the free breakfast buffet, and the free bbq and beer every evening is the outstanding service. My wife and our guests honestly received Ritz Carlton level service at about 1/6th of the price. They set people up with dinner reservations, gave them free room upgrades, and were always willing to help. I would highly recommend using this hotel for an event or just a place to stay.
