Three cheers for this RIBM!! My family and I stayed here while attending Navy boot camp graduation- and they went above and beyond any expectations I had.
I almost always stay at Marriott hotels when I travel- and love Residence Inns. I love how roomy they are- I love the kitchen, free breakfast etc.
Not only did my family find our 2 bedroom suite comfy and clean- but the hotel provided detailed info for graduation attendees and a free shuttle to and from the base.
We arrived just in time for the Thursday night hospitality hour- which were delicious chicken fajitas!
They also had extremely friendly staff.
I also loved the color scheme in the room, very nice!!
I highly recommend this location- especially if traveling to navy boot camp graduation.
After flight delays into O'Hare Airport, my family and I arrived on Thursday evening. Our bed was comfortable, but I was mildly disappointed that the fold-out bed for my daughter had not been made; however, linens, a pillow and a blanket were provided. The Inn was approximately 31 miles from O'Hare Airport, but only 3 miles from NTC (the Navy Training Center). In the morning, we appreciated the convenience of a shuttle van to NTC. On subsequent mornings, we enjoyed the convenience of a tasty breakfast near the lobby. The Inn is located close to corporate/industrial campuses in the area (Cardinal Health, Abbott, Baxter, Akzo, etc.), with restaurants (Chili's, Sweet Tomatoes, Chipotle, and others) not far away. There is an outdoor swimming pool, though that idea wasn't attractive in early autumn and the gate to the pool was secured. We remained for four nights and three days before returning to the airport. I recommend this Residence Inn to other families attending the graduation ceremonies at NTC.
