We initially selected this place because we have two cats and the hotel is pet friendly.  They have regular rooms, one bedroom suites and two bedroom suites.  Because we were staying so long we negotiated a one bedroom suite for the price of the regular room.  It's tucked away from  I-75 and MLK Blvd in Sabal Industrial Park.  The Florida state fairgrounds and the Hard Rock Casino are about a mile away.

Each room has a kitchen with at least a cook top, a full sized refrigerator and a dishwasher.  In addition to the queen sized bed, they have a pull out bed in the sofa or the chair in the case of the two bedroom suite.

Every morning they have a hot breakfast from 6:30am to 9:30am (7 to 10 on weekends)  Scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles that you make yourself.  They also have toast, muffins or bagels with all the fixin's.  Also on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 6 to 7:30pm they have some sort of meal.    We've had quesadilla's, pasta salad, BBQ sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, meat ball subs, and a couple other items.  To me, the food is a pretty good perk that goes along with the room.

Other amenities are the pool, hot tub, an exercise room with treadmills and weights, and free wired Internet access in your room.  They will send out your dry cleaning, in by 8am back by 5.  Also,  I'm told you can give them a list of groceries you need and they will pick them up for you.

The staff treats you like family.  Very friendly and helpful.  We would come back in a heartbeat.

I've been told by a couple of other guests that if you get on priceline,  you can  get into this hotel for about 1/2 the price of the regular room. rates.  Of course on priceline you can't choose a specific hotel.  So you can't guarantee you're going to get this hotel.

Just ok for a Marriott.  I am a Platinum member, and had hoped for an upgrade upon arrival, but was not given one.  When I asked they said they were booked- but they sure did not seem booked!

Room was dated- bed not very comfortable.  They need to update some of the furniture and fixtures- and the bathroom!

Clean enough.. but not great.  I did not sit on the couch- it looked very worn and dirty.

Pluses are the breakfast, and beer and wine at night.  I guess if I drank more wine the bed would have been more comfy!
