Typical Residence Inn format: room with a kitchenette including stove, microwave, refrigerator. I generally like this chain of hotels as they are roomy, comfortable and consistent. They also have free internet access and breakfast included with the daily rate.
Pluses: The furnishings were in good order, the room clean, and clean sheets, convenient access to freeway. Multiple HBO channels, free microwave popcorn, happy hour and snacks late afternoon, and the internet was speedy with good connectivity. Plenty of free parking and generally quiet.
Annoyances: Air conditioning unit is located in the room, and quite loud when on. The breakfast quality was OK, but they ran out of some items by 8AM and didn't refill them. There was also some kind of domestic argument late one night outside of my unit, and they forgot my early wake-up call.
