This is my third time staying here. I can't speak for the value, since my company is paying for it. All in all, I think I've stayed here for the better part of a month, spread out over a span of 2-1/2 years.
This is the hotel by which I now judge all other hotels. Every single staff member I've worked with has been polite and knowledgable. They're very accommodating, and fulfill all requests very, very easily. The one time I got here at 3 am (I'm still pissed off at Delta about this one), they were still excellent and completely accommodating.
The rooms are bigger than my first apartment, and come with a full-size fridge, a microwave, a small range, and a dishwasher. If you were staying here a long time, you could easily shop at a grocery store and cook your own meals. As it stands, they're more than adequate for leftovers.
My rooms have always been extremely clean, with a couch, comfy chair, two barstools, and a desk with an office chair. The housekeeping staff knows their stuff.
There's complimentary internet, both wired and wireless. This is very important for me - I hate so-called "high-end" hotels that can't even be bothered to provide their business travelers with free internet, after charging $200/night for the room. The wireless net is actually faster than the wired, and it stays up pretty reliably.
They serve a full breakfast every morning - and it's a full spread, none of this continental juice-and-bagels stuff. Juice, coffee, a waffle bar, pancakes, sausage, french toast, oatmeal-with-mixings, cereal, bagels, fresh fruit, donuts, eggs, potatoes... Yeah, it's worth getting up early for. The dining room is fair-sized and I've seldom had to wait for a seat.
Although I've never eaten the dinner at night, it's also complimentary - and if I'm not mistaken, there's FREE BEER. Or at least there was the other night. Yes, seriously - both cans and draft. Yeah, it's just Bud and Michelob, but it's FREE. It's served, Monday through Thursday.
The bed is a nice, comfortable King, and they put 6 pillows out for you to start with. Probably the coziest hotel bed I've ever been in.
There's a nice pool and a HOT TUB. A decked-out exercise room, too. There's a business area near the front desk with free printing and photocopying. Yep, that's free, too.
Pretty much everything except the on-demand porn channel is complimentary. :)
About my only complaint is that the TV channels are pretty limited, and that the TV is HD but the signal is not. Also, sometimes parking can get tight - especially when someone with a boat trailer decides to take up six spaces in a row for a few nights. (Not that THAT has ever happened...)
Oh, and I suppose the decor is kinda dated-looking. It's not modern. But it's more than adequate, and the staff keeps it well-cleaned; I'd rather have excellence, services, and comfort than style any day.
This hotel is really like a home away from home. I'd strongly recommend it to anyone; as far as I'm concerned, it can't be beat.

Friendly staff. Check in lady was really sweet and let us checked in early because the fumigation team already started working on the house at 11am. We needed some extra sheets and the house keeping staff just brought it right up with some extra blanket, too. Very thoughtful.
We had the suite that has 2 joining rooms (309/311) and living room(with a fold out sofa bed, my brother didn't like it but I thought it was pretty decent) with a small kitchen(electric stove, sink, microwave and standard size fridge, cupboards have enough plates, cups and utensils for family of 5). Everything was there all we had to do was bring food. Everything is clean and easy to use. The bathroom is big and the shower (no wimpy shower heads, big tub) has no drainage problem. I'm usually really picky about beds but their mattress is comfortable i have to say. Pretty strong AC so don't worry about being hot in summer.
Excellent place for pets. We had 2 dogs and I thought walking them would be a problem but there's a grass patch right in the middle of the hotel. And near by company/church has some nice lawn. It's really convenient. Starbucks and a gas station nearby. 5 minutes away from McCarthy Ranch and Milpitas Square where there are tons of chinese restaurants and American ones. Walmart is in that plaza, too. If you forgot any supply, just go to Walmart.
Decent continental breakfast, Free happy hour beer and snacks. Free news papers.
And one more thing, our suit had 3 TV's, 2 of them are flat screen LCD with audio/video plugs which made my brother really regret that he didn't bring his PS3 on the trip. Ha ha! Wireless internet is decent speed and I had absolutely no trouble connecting to. Don't expect fancy 5 star hotel but it's worth your buck! Yup, $130 /night for 2 rooms on weekends. $100 per dog per stay for cleaning fee. Our biggest worry about traveling is that the hotel will nickel and dime us about having dogs....Nope, so easy with this place I love it.
P.S. I used the pool and the hot tub, it's small but pretty clean. The only thing is...I really wouldn't go outdoor and expect less than municipal dump smell in Milpitas...especially on a windy day :P Didn't get to use the fitness center but they have one that's free as well.

The check in was great. I arrived really early and my room was not ready. They offered me a beverage and invited me to have a seat in their lobby area. They came over and gave me my room keys and two bags of popcorn and certificate for a free movie.
My guest room was clean although you could smell smoke. When I called thr front desk they stated this is a non-smoking hotel. I was really surprised because my room, floor and building (B) all smelled like smoke. Maybe it used to be a smoking room, floor and building. They couldn't move me to another room because the hotel was full.
I stayed for three night and was happy with the free breakfast in the morning.
My only concern was service was not consistant. I would incounter staff through the hotel and they wouldn't greet me nor ask if I needed anything.
Otherwise, if you are looking for a large guest room and clean place to stay at a great rate - this is your place. If you are looking for world class service I would recommend spend more money at stay at a more service oriented hotel.

No one wanted to believe me when I got a two-room suite complete with full kitchen here for only $129.99.
I needed a place to accomodate a large number of guests for the past weekend. They were packed in there, but the place was pretty huge and it had two bathrooms! The rooms were also recently renovated in 2004.
They serve complimentary breakfast, there's a pool, basketball court, they'll do your grocery shopping for you, they have a hospitality hour on the weeknights... not that I experienced any of that, but it was nice to know those conveniences were available!
