Right now if you go on the Irvine Visitors Bureau website, you can get a $50 rebate for staying three nights here! My girlfriend and I were stoked because with this down economy, we were able to put that $50 towards a nice dinner.
i had some out of town guests visiting and since my apt couldnt accommodate them all, i got a room at the Residence Inn Marriott near my apartment complex. the location is really convenient to the 405 freeway and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. in fact, souplantation even shares a parking lot with the hotel. anyways the rooms are spacious and even provide a mini-kitchen complete with fridge, microwave, and stove-top in addition to kitchen utensils. there's also a nice couch that can fit more ppl in the room if you're cramming them in like sardines ;) overall the staff is nice, the hotel and rooms are clean, and this is a perfect place to stay when in irvine whether for business or pleasure. oh and i'm not sure how much pricing runs for a room but if you know an employee there, they can get you a nice friends and family discount ;)
