So this is my home for the next week while the plumbers, asbestos, environmentalists and all the other people who are tearing apart my home do their work.
We have a studio with a small kitchen and a full functioning bathroom. It has all the essentials that you need, plus they allow pets, so I don't have to sneak them around. :)
It's clean and comfortable for the most part but a little outdated. For a 3 star hotel, its pretty pricey $150 per night if you stay for 5 nights and then I'm using my AAA discount. hey, I'm trying to save my insurance company money. I'm such a good slave...
Beds aren't the heavenly variety, but descent.
All the windows are triple paned because of the proximity to the freeway, so me and bionic ears only hear it when the door is open.
Hubby, me and the dingos are pretty comfortable but this is not home.
They also have a dog run for your pets and a continental breakfast complete with omelet bar and fresh waffles.

Highly recommended. It's centrally located. Not too far from DisneyHell and the beach. It's also conveniently located right off off the 405. The rooms are a good size complete w/ a small kitchen and all the essentials.
However, it's a little on the pricey side. So, use Priceline. I was able to get it $40 below retail/night.
A bonus was the free self-serve breakfast that was beyond your traditional Continental breakfast. However, we did encounter some "progressive" parents who just let their spoiled little brats (all 5 of them) leave their dirty dishes on the table so that the one waitress could clean it all up. How do these people live w/ themselves? I digress.

I was taken back instantly to apartment architecture in the late 80's/early 90's. Neat-o.
All in all, good place though - near the Courtyard so you have access to all their stuff, too, like the business center and getting to be in a meeting of the housekeepers that they held in the lobby. That was cool. That even took me back to when I lived here and worked at a hotel near JW Airport. Ha.
This place had a full kitchen, well equipped bathroom area and a spacious living room/ bedroom. The staff was nice and we had a nice stay.

i like this hotel because you get a huge studio apartment with great air conditioning and they allow doggies :).
they are upgrading all of their beds too (fabulous bed)
the only downside is that some of the rooms are closer to the freeway then others and i unfortunately got one just overlooking the 405
(not the best view)
and
on Sunday the breakfast food (served till 10 on weekends) was gone by 9:30 a.m., so i didn't get to eat anything.
i like coming here because it's reasonably priced for the area and the closest hotel to Huntington Dog Beach.

If your kids are in club soccer, travel ball, etc then you need to put this place on your list. Centrally located between several tournament locations, this place is surprisingly nice. Its not a 4 star hotel but if you have a family and/or pets you cant go wrong. Clean, safe, nice pool, great breakfast. Plus you get Marriott points. We might even stay here in the summer to avoid paying gas driving back and forth to the beach.
