We stayed here because we were going to be drinking at a birthday arty held at the "Shark Club"... we wrote a review for that too.
The place doesn't look that great from the outside, it doesn't have much curb appeal but when you get into your room it changes.
Parking was a pain in the ass as there wasn't enough spaces. We had to park around the side because of the lack of spaces. The room had stainless steel appliances, a stove, fridge, microwave and sink. They even included dishes and silverware. It was like a small efficiency. he countertops were granite styled material that goes straight into the sink, nice modern touch. There was also a nice desk area with a chair.
The couch had a very comfortable pull-out bed right in front of a huge LG flat screen, had to be 40" or more. The bed had memory foam, we think, and was extremely comfortable with 4 different sized pillows to fit your particular need. The granite counter top was also brought into the vanity area with a big mirror and full length mirror right on the wall. The little walkway or hallway to get to the bathroom and vanity were aligned with huge closets. Probably one of the best hotels we've stayed in for a while, and it was $100 for one night and $10 off with AAA.
Really, what can I say about a Residence Inn? Pretty much your run of the mill cheaper hotel. The staff was nice, checked us in quickly and the room was clean.
These are hotels of convenience and for a bargain rate. I was on a business trip and the room fit my needs/budget. It was a fairly spacious room located up a flight of fairly narrow stairs. The desk with special desk chair was a nice touch.
There was the loudest air conditioner in my room that filled the whole place with white noise. Probably not the best feature.
The parking lot smells strongly of garlic. There is a strip mall next door and I assume they must cook large batches of it daily. A bit much.
