I don't stay in hotels often, so I honestly don't have a ton to compare to... but this is a pretty good place. I stayed here with my parents and younger brother during our Disneyland trip, and we had expected to have one bed, one bathroom, and a pull-out couch bed. We ended up being upgraded to a huge suite, which sadly is probably bigger than my apartment - master bedroom with bathroom, living area with pullout couch, full kitchen, and second bedroom (bunkbeds!) with its own bathroom - for the same price.
My mom thought the room and furniture were a little "beat-up" and old, but everything was very, very clean, which is awesome. There were TVs in every room, a pool (which I never spent time in, but it looked nice enough), and free breakfast every morning. I was a pretty big fan of that; there were tons of options, from scrambled eggs to potatoes to waffles you make yourself to yogurt and fruit. A ton of restaurants were within walking distance as wel.
It's a little far from Disneyland itself, so if you go for that purpose, be prepared to take a bus to and from the park. We did do the walk one night and it took about 35-40 minutes, which isn't terrible, but sort of annoying after walking all day in the sun. Bus passes are sold from a little machine right outside the hotel and it's all very simple. There's a little gift shop in the hotel as well, but it only seemed to be open in the mornings and at night, apparently not during the day.
Everyone at the front desk was super nice and helpful. My only complaints were the "beat-up-ness" (okay, that was my mom's issue, I really could not care less), the fact that it's not super close to the parks, and the fact that although it's a nonsmoking hotel, someone was definitely smoking and it kept wafting into my room and bathroom. It was also sort of irritating trying to take the elevators; sometimes it was very quick and easy, but if there were a lot of people, there were some pretty long waits to catch an elevator (we were on the 8th floor).
Things I noticed but didn't experience personally: free BBQ area right by the pool, free drinks/appetizers/social hour Monday-Thursday, a workout room, and a "business center."
From what I could tell, it wasn't super expensive, but I wasn't paying for it and I really have no idea. Definitely cheaper than, say, the actual Disney hotels... and a great alternative.

In my book, Family "Vacation" has always been an oxymoron. So, in my quest to really enjoy my vacation to Disneyland with three little ones, I searched and searched, compared and spoke with friends/family that go to Disneyland way too often (this would only be my 2nd time since I was in the 6th grade).
After comparing prices with accommodations, I found that this place suited my needs, completely, for about the same price as all of the others in the area.
My needs were:
-Separate room for the kiddies . . .I'm talking about a "real" separate bedroom with bunk beds. (should you need more room for stow-a-ways, the couch in the living room is a full-sized pull-out bed).
-2nd Bathroom for the kiddies . . . they had two FULL-size bathrooms
The bonus part to staying here was:
-Kitchen with full-sized fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven. We were able to re-heat all of our leftover Disneyland food. . . And walk up a block to a grocery store for some more food, that we could microwave or reheat. As I was on vacation . . .hell, I wasn't going to do anymore than re-heat stuff.
-3 TV's . . one in the "master" suite, one in the living room, and one in the Kiddie room. One thing kinda irked me. . .there was a candy jar full of candy on the cute little play area table in the kids room. At first, I thought . . "how nice", but in a kinda WTF are you thinking kinda way . . . Boy, I tell you, I had to grab that sucker fast and hide it (tip . . in one of the kitchen cabinets way up high where I could even barely reach).
-Nice self-serve, all you can eat breakfast buffet. Including a self-made waffle area and almost all of the breakfast items one can imagine. . .I do wish they had more pork meat items, like bacon and sausage. Alas, these items were mixed betwixt scrambled eggs. But, everything else was a plus.
-Convenient, and reasonably-priced shuttle service to Disneyland.
-We enjoyed the semi-empty pool (I actually, kinda burned/tanned my ghost-white-ass for a minute).
-This room was more like a two-bedroom apartment, with built-in staff that would load up your dishes and cycle them through the dishwasher for lazy-asses, er, I mean vacationers. It kinda reminded me of a couple of time-shares I've stayed in, with pots and pans (like, really? Who is gonna actually cook on vacation?) full-on utensils, spices and whatnot.
-Oh, and there's a laundry room. Ya know, I didn't think I'd have use for this amenity, but with three little ones . .. you just never know. As I didn't bring any detergent with me, I was able to buy a load worth of Tide and dryer sheets for a buck each.
This is, by no means a romantic, or luxurious place. But, it's also no where near being a fleabag no-tell motel either. I highly recommend for those with kids in tow, who also want some of the comforts of home.

We stayed here with our 3 boys during a visit to Disneyland. This hotel is awesome. For about 160$ a night we received a 2 bedroom suite with a living room & full kitchen. The boys had bunk beds with their own bathroom and we had our own room with a master bathroom. The kids had a table to do their homework on and we even made our own meals in the kitchen.
This property also had free breakfast in the morning and it wasn't that "cheezy" cold breakfast either. There was tons to choose from, hot or cold and they kept it filled. They had nightly movies for the kids with snacks included in the "kids theatre" in the lobby which was too cute. The kids loved the pool and hot tubs.
They had free parking & we liked that there was a bus that picked us up right in front of the hotel and dropped us off right at Disneyland.

The Not-so Good:
Customer service upon check in was poor, and the front desk people were not that friendly. The type of room we had reserved was not available, and my in-laws ended up sleeping on bunk beds. We arrived to check in at 3:45, but check in time was 4:00 and there was several families standing around...I really doubt not one room was ready before 4 for early check in. There were no luggage carts available to move our stuff in from the car, I practically stalked one other family to get the one they were using...the 2 or 3 they had weren't in very good shape and tires were flat.
The hot tub was not very clean, and needed attention.
The elevators were a nightmare in the morning when everyone is headed out. We were on 2nd floor but could hardly use the stairs because they are so inconveniently located, hard to find, and you have to go outside, and you need key card.
The good:
We chose this place in part for the breakfast. They have a good, hot breakfast bar everyday. Waffles, pancakes, fruit, eggs, meat, juice, coffee, etc. It's a great way to start the day and not pay for breakfast.
The two-room suite was nice, unfortunately we did not want bunk beds. Otherwise room was nice. Kids room had VCR/TV, which is nice...we dug out the old VHS tapes to bring along. Time to update to DVD players!
Shuttle service is convenient right outside on curb. It is not provided by hotel, but is public transportation so you have to pay per day. It is a little bit far to the park and can take a long time when Disneyland is as busy as it was on our visit. Next time I'd like to be a little closer to Disneyland.
I would give this hotel a higher rating had we had a friendly reception and better first impression.

We stayed at the other Residence Inn in Anaheim the last time we were here... but I saw that this one had a 2 bedroom and for a better price so I decided to book reservations for us at this one. The 2nd bedroom turned out to be bunk beds! LOL! It was pretty cute... the furniture in the room was meant for a Kid's Room... even the bathroom... everything was shorter. There was a living room with a pull out sleeper... it says it's a queen sleeper.... but it so was not... and the people who ended up on it said it was not comfortable at all. There was a kitchen, where we decided to have a family meal one day instead of eating out... so it makes a great place to stay for 6 or with a family. Two bathrooms also made getting ready more efficient. There is complimentary breakfast every morning from 630-930... we made it down there one day and it wasn't bad... there was everything you can think of for breakfast... including a waffle bar! Parking is also complimentary!
