Yee-haw! I'm about as country and western as Absolut vodka and an MP3 player.
Our kids wanted cowgirl boots like one of the characters from Toy Story 2 and the grandparents were going to spring for them last Christmas. Where did we find just the right pink boots? Renton Western Wear in the heart of Downtown Renton.
Convenient for us too, as they are located in the city where we live.
I can't recall what we spent on the boots (err... what the grandparents spent) but I believe it was fairly affordable. Of course, we didn't leave without buying matching pink cowgirl hats too.
The merchandise is generally everything from the country cowboy genre. It looks like the wardrobe from Shania's and Garth's last concert tours. Hats, belts, shirts, jeans, skirts, etc. I can't comment on the prices since I never buy western clothes.
The window displays are generally seasonal and themed. The clerks seem to be helpful and generally friendly.
There's 2-hour free parking on-street (South 3rd Street) or on the north-south one-way couplets of Williams and Wells. The shop is a 5 minute walk from the Renton Transit Center.
If you're coming to shop, there are also several antique shops or ecclectic-type retailers within walking distance of the western store in nearly any direction, there's also restaurants that feature pho, Indian food, BBQ, teriyaki, and a couple coffee shops(including a cupcake place a few blocks away).

Note: I gave 5 stars because they had the products we were looking for, service was fine, parking was easy, prices seemed fair, etc. I had no complaints about the experience.
So, I've never been in the market for Western Wear exactly - but I needed several colored bandannas for an event and figured this was the place to come!
I was right! In addition to any type of western wear your brain can conjure up - bandannas were in full-effect. I found them in about fifteen colors and at a decent price.
The window displays tend to be funny and seasonal (western motif bunny's kissing for valentine's day, etc...)
