Quite possibly the best dressed/styled mannequins I've seen in Atlanta thus far. And yeah, I know how tricky that can be.
This shop is full of a lot of "classics" in my opinion. It's a pretty far cry from a lot of other L5P shops with its structured often professional pieces. At least that was my first impression. Looking a little further, I found the most beautiful and artistic silks pieced together in an effortlessly chic but yet kind of boho way. Everything was very well-priced, especially with the incredible sale they had going.
Caroline was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable... exactly what a shopgirl should be. There was no pretense or attempt to make me spend more money than I wanted.
I've always loved shopping at local boutiques, but being able to buy from a local designer makes the deal that much sweeter.
Hands down, my favorite boutique in Atlanta. Rene has been designing fabulous clothes for many years, but they never get old. Always something good, classic but edgy, and well made. The clerks are always friendly and helpful, and if you get lucky, you may run into Rene. She's very hands on, which is probably why her store has always been so great.
Just bought a super cute vintage fabric wrap dress. The employee who helped me was friendly and nice. The designer was there and was quirky and fun. Some really pretty clothes here along with great service. Not your typical L5P shop.
I recently was searching for the perfect party dress to sport at various functions during the upcoming holiday monsoon. When it comes to dresses, I don't mind investing as long as the piece is classic and will last me several years.
My mother and I happened to be be-bopping through Little Five Points, when it hit me I might find the perfect dress in René René. After all, the red '20s glam dress I purchased from this boutique in 2005 has seen many a party, and I plan to wear the well-made threads forever.
The store associate, Caroline, was extremely helpful in encouraging my pursuit, walking me through the racks of cocktail raiment, until my eyes lay on a short black dress with sweet, poufy sleeves; a pleated breast; a belted bow; and convenient, slitted, unnoticeable pockets in the front. I felt like Evita when I slipped on the soft fabric in the dressing room...
René Sonning, the designer, was in the store that afternoon; she's an extremely nice (and pleasantly eccentric) lady, so it's nice to know I'm supporting a classy, local artist.
PLUS, everything in the store was 25% off, resulting in a screaming deal for a little black dress I plan to wear until I die.
Located in hip Little Five Points, Rene Rene is a cute little boutique with clothing and accessories by local Atlanta designer. Prices are pretty affordable prices for handmade wares. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Growing up in an Atlanta Suburb, i craved the "city" experience and would go to Little 5 often. When I had $ to burn as a teenager, this was one of the spots I'd check out. I think I bought a prom dress here. It's hard to believe it's been there 20 years. It was so "NY" back then. Sounds like it's just as hip today.
