I travel quite a bit, and I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel.  Very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. They are willing to give you a ride in the shuttle pretty much anytime.  I like the close proximity to the terminals, which is also where you can pick up the Metro link into downtown for two bucks and some change (a cab would cost $30)

The workout facility is clean with about 6 treadmills and 6 ellipticals, all with cable TV.

The food at the restaurant is very good. I especially recommend the Ahi tuna salad for lunch.

Level 4 Marriott family points!!   WoOt!!

My fiance and I were in town for a wedding and we decided to get the romance package.  It is hardly romantic when you have to ask 3 times for them to bring you the bottle of champagne.  Whenever we asked for something we never got it.  We wanted more towels but had to wait 2 hours until I decided to go and find one of the maids and ask myself.

The hotel was clean and the wait staff for the restaurant was great!  Actually I give them 5 stars but the front desk and the others get a very very poor rating.  the workout room is also amazing!!!  The valet guys were awesome as well.......but not worth all the money we paid in total.

Follow up on this:  I did write a letter to the manager explaning what had happened and within 24 hours I got a response and a credit to my account, so some redeeming qualities about the situation.

This hotel is part of the Marriott family, so you know what you're getting to some degree. And I generally like Marriotts, so no surprise that I liked this hotel.

The staff was friendly, and the facility was very clean -- nicely appointed, too. I had a double-queen room, and it was HUGE. One of the larger hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower was fine -- standard Marriott.

Only negatives were two minor points: the iron in my room was old and beat up a bit (but it did work just fine). And there was no wireless in the room; you had to request an ethernet cable from the front desk. (Huh?!)

Actually, I didn't have to request a cable because I travel with one, but if you don't have one, you have to ask.

The hotel is right off the airport grounds, and you can hear the jets taking off -- but not so loudly that it bothered me or kept me from sleeping. Oh, there's an adult "boutique" across the street from the hotel, too, if that matters to you. But it's still a nice property overall.
