I liked this hotel. I was here for business so I didn't have a chance to take advantage of the pool but got to really experience the service side, gym facility, as well as the conference rooms and events you can hold on the beautiful grounds.
Lakeside property, with an outside terrace lined with white tablecloth tables perfect for evening and day dining.
I liked my room and the bedding was comfortable. With the humid weather I needed my AC and I either couldn't figure out the AC controls or they didn't work and I think it was the second option because a fellow co-hort had the same issues.
Overall the property was beautiful, service was good, and the restaurant, Bin 395, located in the lobby bumped up the star rating. The hotel also has a Starbucks' located in the hotel, which isn't my cup of tea (or coffee), but I would imagine others would find this as a convenient amenity.

This is another hotel where I felt I received 5-star treatment throughout. The staff are so pleasant here. Some of them very southern in style....for example, as I finished requesting a wake-up call, they said "sweet-dreams"!!! This hotel is a refreshing change. Very good value for Ft Lauderdale area. However, it is far from the beaches...at least 30 minute drive depending on traffic. There are many restaurants in driving distance. Breakfast buffet (not free) was pretty good but pricey. Paid 170 a night.
