Review from Lynn M.
Thiensville, WI
Great casual, clean and comfortable environment. They have a great little patio on the river that is one of the best kept secrets in the Mequon area. Nice bar area to have a cocktail or two when it's busy.
I think they have the best ribs in town and the fish fry on Friday is a must. -

Always a decent meal, having the pork chops tonight which are a little dry.
Fish fry is great and the pizzas look good.
We have dined here three times in the past two years.
Lodge look inside. -

Come on guys, do you know what 4 and 5 stars means? I don't think so. While the food is consistently good - I haven't tried everything - the service may come with dirty looks if you aren't so fabulously well-to-do as everybody in Mequon believes they are; as if they weren't in Wisconsin.
The only thing that is 4/5 star is the prices, which leaves you wishing for friendlier service. Evening entertainment can be lots of fun, however.
Bring cash if less than $10 - mastercharge fees aren't even included with their inflated prices; they'd rather harass you into paying with germ ridden dollars and coins... -

We just moved to the area and decided to check this place out after work. We ordered a pitcher of beer (Stella Artois) and it ended up costing 18.00. I thought that was excessive. Will not go back with that price.

Review from Bill F.
Cedarburg, WI
They have the typical bar food like a fish fry and burgers, but they also have wonderful seafood, spare ribs, and a Buffalo Chicken sandwich that is to die for. Good hometown atmosphere, a definite must if you are in the area.
