Mandy is a true professional. As a lover of beauty and skin care, I have come to her for years for waxing, facials and lash extension. Her facial products and equipment are all top of the line, including microdermabrasian, exfoliant, oxygen steamer, etc, etc.. She has excellent remedies for acne, wrinkles and dryness.
My skin is nothing short of fabulous after she is done with it, she also helps with a skin regimen for preventative measures.
She goes the extra mile and waxes or cleans my brows after each facial!!
Mandy's studio is a very clean and comfortable ambience oasis, with fresh air and light music.
Mandy is knowledgable, great to be around and a true lover of her work! Highly recommended! -

Okay, so I really really wanted to give Mandy a chance, as I thought some people on here might have been overly harsh. I am not going to bash her services, but I will say that I am not going to go back anytime soon.
I had the Groupon for $125 Facial Services. Comparing to the previous facials I have had at spas, etc. this one was not up to par with those. I felt it was rushed, not to mention when she went to do extractions, she did not extract the area I specifically pointed out. Additionally, she used a needle and attempted an extraction on a keratosis pilaris I have on my face (it's a version of skin tag, but definitely cannot be extracted). It was painful and bled- and now I have a red mark on my lip.
Prior to the facial I had asked her to do an underarm wax as well. The wax was the most painful I've had for my underarms. My skin is still red and I think some skin was ripped off.
Regardless, Mandy is very nice, but I will not be using her services again in the future. -

Mandy is amazing!!! She definitely know what she's doing when it comes to lashes! She's been doing my eyelashes for over a year now and I go back every 3 weeks for touch-ups (it's an addiction!). Her eyelash techniques make them look so natural that people don't know I have them! She takes her time in INDIVIDUALLY placing each eyelash and knows what looks best on people...not to mention that she uses the best quality products around! I definitely recommend Mandy to anyone who wants natural looking lashes for a fraction of the price than other salons in Burlingame.

Fantastic!
I've been on a mission over the past few months to reduce my pore size and the number of blemishes and blackheads I collect (I have VERY oily skin and texas-sized pores). The last few facials I've gotten have been nice, but didn't seem incredibly effective. This was TOTALLY different- not only does Mandy do a great job of pampering (between the massaging, amazing smells, and great ambience, I fell asleep in a state of bliss TWICE), but she is also a master of treatment. She spent an hour pampering my face and suggested a microdermabrasion (my first!). Now I can't stop looking in the mirror and being amazed at the difference I see! My skin is baby soft, and for the first time I can't even find a blackhead on my nose- MAGIC! Or, rather than magic- amazing skill!
I know where I'm coming for my facials in the future- pampering AND effective facial treatment! Thanks!!! -

While it seems like such a splurge and quite a bit of maintenance, lash extensions are the way to go these days. Now that I have them, my morning routine has never been shorter.
I was recommended to Mandy Tsai at Rejuvalon Salon by my friend, Mandy :), who's been going to her for a few years now. Mandy Tsai has been certified in lash extensions for over a decade, so she really knows what she's doing. She uses the highest quality products and knows what looks best on people. She's super fast too so you can be in an out of there in under an hour. -

I got a Brazilian Wax by Mandy for the first time a while back...and my skin hurt for a week...my skin was on fire every time I peed...and I've had more than 5 Brazilians done before, so it wasn't my first time. It was the most painful wax I had ever received! I was sweating like crazy and I was almost in tears by the time it was over!
She also tested the wax on my skin! She heated it up, dribbled some on and asked "is this too hot???" She did that about 3 times...testing the temperature of the wax on me. one time it wasn't too hot, and the other 2 times was way too hot, and I think it really burned me.
She is a very nice person, but I just wasn't fond of the waxing service. -

If I could give zero stars, I would.
I went to Mandy for the eyelash perm. It was a mistake. She had me lay on my back and close my eyes. She then placed some foam or tape on my eyes- it hurt SO bad. My eyelids felt like they were on fire. They probably were because when she ripped that crap off my eyes, I looked in the mirror and found that my eyelids were swollen and red. SWOLLEN AND RED EYELIDS- that's not what I ordered! Last I checked I ordered the eyelash perm! Apparently she was shocked by the way my eyes looked as well because she said "Oh, this has never happend before". Do NOT come here unless you want red, swollen eyelids.
Oh yeah, and the way she permed my eyelashes made them look non-existent. Probably beause they got burnt off along with my eyelids. -

MANDY IS AWESOME!!!
My friend referred me to Mandy to get waxed. I am now one of her loyal clients. She does the best Brazilian wax! Not only does she do an awesome job of making sure every last hair is gone, she also somehow manages to do all this with a very minimal amount of pain. The place is very clean also. Mandy is always upbeat and talkative and such a sweet person. I would highly recommend her to everyone. Just call ahead to make your appointment, the word has gotten out how great she is and her calender fills up fast. -

A "One Stop Shop" oasis for all your beautification needs. Mandy is a designated VIP in my glam team world.
I have had several facials by her in the past few months and am extremely pleased with the results each time. She introduced me to the Clarisonic Pro and I am HOOKED. I can't function without the thing. Most recently I tried her waxing prior to my wedding and honeymoon, and I was pleased as well.
Update on lash extensions: You can be picky and tell Mandy what you really want as far as your desired length and volume. For my wedding I opted for a super glam look (very long and full). After I came back from my honeymoon I asked for a much shorter lash with the same volume I had before and they look amazing! So, the husby and I moved down the peninsula and i was very curious to see what this city had to offer in "PAMPER ME" spots. I was in need of a Brazil and if ya'll have seen my other reviews, u KNOW I am all about sanitation to the UTMOST!!
Okay so I call Mandy and she has a spot for me to fill, what to expect is all that is running thru my head. As u walk into the salon there is no one to greet you at the front, so I walk down a little pass a couple salon chairs and end up in like a mani/pedi room. I then le tthe man know that I have an appointment w/Mandy and he kindly escorts me to "upstairs". W8ng w8ng someone is getting waxed. Okay so I get there right on time and I am w8ng for about 10mins (mind u, the meter that I parked at is only 20mins) finally she is done with the previous customer, I explained to ther that I am parked at a 20 min meter and she tells me not to worry and that she will have me out the door before my meter expires.
So, i do all the things to be done and lay on the bed (very tiny room, but cute) and then she takes a phone call goes into this little cabinet/closet and grabs ONE yes ONE stick. I feel myself panicking kinna and wondering if that is the only stick she finna use on my VAJAYJAY!!!! LAWD please NOOOOO! And sho nuff MANDY IS A DOUBLE DIPPER!!!!!! Ewwww!!! Ewwwww Ewwwww! I've read other postings that have given 5 stars and am just wondering ladies, " Is sanitation in ya'll mines when u get ya'll bush waxed???" I'll give it to her that she is FAST.....SUPAH FAST at that!! Becasue she was rushing, she left a patch that I didn't notice till I got home. But, sanitaiton failed me at this spot!! DOUBLE DIPPIN......such a NO NO NO!!!!
What's to say that the previous customer before u got crabs or some other yebegeebee down there.....ummm because the wax pot is plugged and kept hot all day, don't mean that it kills all the germs and all the other gross stuff out there!! I'm gonna cancel my appointment for next month OR if your reading MANDY, scratch me off the list!! Sorry!!

I made an appointment for 530 and showed up about 515. The chick who was supposed to wax my man brows was going to "be right back" so I waited for her. 530 comes and goes and nothing. 545 nothing. Stood up on my first date.... child please! They may be great, but if you can't remember that you have a client coming in you can't have my money honey.

Mandy's friendly and her prices are competitive. Minus one star because my friend had made an appointment with Mandy and she'd simply forgotten about it. She's a busy lady, so make sure when you make your appointment that she writes you in her calendar.

Mandy is AMAZING! I called her at 10am yesterday morning and she scheduled me at 10:45. I told her it was my first time waxing my "girl parts" and she advised me to take two Advil and meet her at 10:45. The salon is cute and quiet and there was tons of parking since it was a Sunday. Anyway, I opted for the Brazilian wax and let me tell you, I was ready for some intense pain, but it was no worse than getting my eyebrows waxed. I was in and out of there within 10 minutes. I've already booked her for once a month sessions. I definitely recommend Mandy if you're looking for a painless Brazilian.

I've had several brazilian waxes by Mandy. Each time, she did not remove all of the hair. I've also had her do my eyebrows before. My skin started to break out before I even got home, and the breakout lasted over a week.
