This is a great REI location, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
My family and I have shopped here many times. We have also taken advantage of their community education offerings (camping classes taught in the store).
We have also rented camping gear here and have had good experiences.
This location has helped our local Cub Scout pack a few times as well, so they seem to care about the community. -

We are lucky to have such a great store in Brentwood. If you have any needs for top-notch outdoor equipment, this is this place. I especially like that while they have a large selection of the items they carry, it's not stocked with what are useless items for most people.
They have a huge selection of clothing and shoes for hiking (anything outdoors) and cycling. In terms of cycling, they have a significant selection of bicycles and all the amenities needed for good rides.
The staff here is always helpful and give you the attention you need in order to make a good selection. They are also helpful in learning how to cut costs and manage your budget. -

REI inspires me to be active...or find reasons to be since all their gear is awesome! I've always found what I needed at REI whether it be a pair of gloves, snow gear, or a hydration pack!
Their helpful staff, membership rewards, good deals, and large selection are a few of the many reasons why I'm a fan! -

I love that there's an REI so close to me now! Every time I walk in, I immediately get giddy. Can I have one of everything please??
The people that work at REI clearly love their job. They are so friendly and helpful, and take time to offer up the best possible solution to any of your outdoor needs. I could cozy up in their tents, grab some MRE's, and live there.
But I won't.

Great service. Comparible prices. Great selection and the best garuantee. Bring it back if not happy or satisfied. The folks in the shoe department really know their stuff and are very supportive. Not pushy like some places.
Plus they know the product. They can tell which shoes are narrow or fit small. Awesome sales!! -

Aside from Border's, this is my all time favorite place to spend money in Brentwood. I've had both of my bikes worked on here by the very qualified wrenches. They communicate well and quickly.
I love to shop their clearance racks at season's end. They have excellent, quality clothing marked down to very affordable prices. On a writer's (miniscule) salary, this makes me happy.
Go here, spend money, blow kisses to the boys in the bike repair department, and take a credit card. It ain't cheap,but it's worth it. -

I am so excite to finally have an REI within twenty minutes of where I live! When I moved to Nashville a month ago and saw that there was an REI close by, it made moving here even better!
I could spend hours walking around here, looking at everything they have. I've been two weekends in a row now!
The staff is awesome! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. If you need any outdoor gear, this is your place! -

I love REI. This one is a tad small, but still had what I needed. The staff was nice, as well.
I was only there for a few days (I mean - I didn't STAY in the store, but I was in the town for a few days), and when I stopped by there wasn't much action. I'm used to REI stores being the epicenter of activities.
So: good for gear, not so good for connecting with other outdoor freaks. -

Everything you need and great service.
When a sales person lists the flaws of a more expensive product and tells you why buying last years model online from their outlet store will give you a more comfortable backpacking experience, you know you're in the right place. REI's staff are second to none in service and product knowledge. -

REI is great when you need some outdoor gear in a hurry...on want to put your hands on that $2k road bike before you purchase it! They are obviously a bit higher in price than what you can find online, but that is typical these days. Their selection is great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Anytime I see an REI, I have to stop. It's like a crazy addiction. I was a little disappointed, with the cold weather, the limited womens jacket selection. There were less than 8 styles to choose from. What the heck, REI?

I love this place for everything outdoors, even their vacations list the carbon footprint of said vacation. Honestly though, they really need to open up before 10 am on the weekends.

REI has about everything outdoor enthusiasts need to get their next adventure in motion. The staff is very friendly and always do their best to answer any questions you might have. I particularly enjoy their selection of outdoor clothing and gear. I encourage all Nashville area Yelpers to become REI members so you can take advantage of their great member discounts.
