Jen is the best.  I told her to do whatever she thought would look good and I have never had more compliements on a hair cut and color in my life.  Go to Jen (JenO) she will treat you right and really knows what she is doing.  I have been to MANY MANY salons and had horrible experiences and paid a lot of money for them at that.  This was one of the most reasonably priced salons and I have been extremely happy with the results.

No stars to be given if POSSIBLE! My husband and I strolled through the mall and the thought of my hubby getting his hair re-styled crossed our minds...so we happened to come accross Regis to see if there were any available appointments during that moment, or if not, the day after. So as we approached one of the employees behind the counter [a male and a female employee (the short fat stubby female one) happened to be up front]. The male asked how he may be of help and I told him that I would like to check for next availability.  He pulled up this huge chart that consisted of many appointments. Short/fat stubby female was on the phone w/ a client it seems and rudely slams the phone onto the chart! I'm like WTF? Without even expressing a "Hold on please ma'am, she starts talking to her partner employee asking for a phone number. I swear I was about ot explode and say "HELLO can't you see he's with me right now biatch!?!" anyhow, this place seems to be way too ridiculously priced for the haircuts they service. I should've known better not to even try to come in again...they screwed up my hair cut last time and my sister who came along with me was sooooo livid and felt sorry for me as I was walking out! F+++!!!! REGIS SUCKS!

I'm only giving this place 5 stars because of Leo.
Leo is the best stylist!
There were other amazing stylists that have since left since I was there last.

I also like Vincent and Trevor... not sure if Trevor is still there.

Leo is very communicative and spends his time when he does your hair. He actually spends a lot of time working on your hair so heads up if you're in a rush.

He is an expert on 'unusual hair color' i.e. blue, green, etc.
So I also trust him when I like to mix it up.

The prices are reasonable. This isn't super cuts and it's not an expensive upscale salon.
When I last checked prices for a haircut: $40-55 for men and women (this is their set rate so they do not charge differently for men unless you're have a separate arrangement with the stylist)

Color: $65 and up depending on length of hair and complexity of color
Highlights $75 and up, same determinations as above.

I like to buy products here because they have sales every month. So it's usually a deal.

Ridiculously expensive for no FUCKING REASON!!

This was our last resort since all the other salons were overbooked or closing. My sister insisted we get a haircut today or it was a no deal. So Regis was the only place to open at 8:30.

No one can even tell that I got a haircut. I had 5 inches of my hair cut off and no one noticed at all. RIDICULOUS!

I asked the lady to surprise me.......instead I got no surprise from my same haircut...but a surprise from the ripoff price.

I swear they must have had me under some kind of influence of something, I must have been imagining thta I was having my haircut off and then they used someone else's strands of hair on the floor to make it look my like my hair was cut.

Regis is RIDICULOUS!!!

Totally! I must agree with the girls (or guy) underneath mine! Geeze wiz! I thought by going in, I can get a simple snip off the length and a SIMPLE side swept bang. I'm not a hairstylist but I mean... how hard can it possibly be?! I walked in with an awesome picture, walked out looking... WAYYYY off! I shoulda went back to  Tangerine despite the price and even though it was just a simple cut...got damn it. Now I gotta go get a fix

I've never had a haircut that was so horrifying that I actually needed to get it redone by someone else. I came to this place for a standard $40 haircut and I think it would be fair to say that the lady butchered my hair.

The lady that cut my hair seemed like she had never done a haircut before, but I know that she's been there for a long time. The haircut took a long time, like 45 minutes (a men's haircut should take no more than 30 minutes tops). The whole time, her hands were shaking and she seemed nervous like she had no idea what to do.

Her hand kept bumping me in the eye, and she kept letting hair fall into my face/eyes and then she pretended like it didn't happen and wouldn't clean it off. She washed my hair three times, and the third time she washed my hair, she got my shirt soaking wet.

Once she was finally done ruining my hair, she handed me a tissue and told me to wipe the hairs off my face! I went into their bathroom to try and clean the hairs off and when I saw myself up close in the mirror, I almost screamed. My hair was uneven all around, my hair looked like a highway offramp, and somehow she gave me hair horns.

I went to their front desk where there were two different hair stylists and told them I wasn't going to pay. They asked why and I told them to take a good look at my hair. I can't even describe the look on their faces when they looked at what their fellow stylist had done to me.

The only upside to this ordeal is that one of the other stylists offered to "fix" what the first lady had done to it. The fixing took about a half hour, including drying my shirt with a hairdryer. While I was getting my hair unfucked, the first stylist went and hid in the back room. She knew she screwed up and couldn't even face me.

I ended up spending about two hours for just a simple haircut, and they still charged me full price. Needless to say, I did not leave a tip.

This is really disappointing. I've been going to different Regis salons for years in different states and I've always gotten high quality haircuts. The Regis in Santa Clara needs new management and some minimal standards.
