i've only come here for eyebrow waxing. First few times around December was fine. This summer was different. I've gone twice this summer and was disappointed. First time I got a girl who was talkative and friendly. i asked her to make my eyebrows thin, not pencil thin but thin. She made them thick and uneven. Second time I went I got a different girl and explained and asked, once again, to make them thin and even. She said that my eyebrows could not be even because one is bigger than the other. Then i asked for them to be thin and she refused to make them thin, saying that they look better thick.
I left VERY unhappy. Yes, she thinks I would look better with them thicker but I like them thin. And today I went to another salon and the lady was able to make them thin AND even. I understand the girls only want to do what they think is best and what they think would look best ON me but the customer is always right and they should do what the customer askes.
I have been here multiple times, and I truly LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! The service is performed by students (future cosmetologists), and overseen by supervisors (licensed cosmetologists). This place is awesome because they LISTEN to you and what you want (unlike other hair salons), and they really LOVE what they're doing. They offer you their own feedback as to what looks good on you, with your specific features. Both my friend and I got our hair done, and I can honestly tell you that they were more excited to see the outcome of our hairdos than we were! It's a great place, and they offer ALL kinds of beauty services, including hair, nails, facials, etc. If you join their rewards program, you get $10 for every person you refer, who also gets $10 for joining!
