I can't believe I was suckered in by this scam. Especially after looking at Yelp. In the future, I will look at Yelp beforehand.
For the record, I also got raped by this establishment, to the tune of 45 dollars for a passable medium sized pizza and a disgusting turkey sub that was clearly made by a person who, sight unseen, hated my guts.
A class action lawsuit would do well against these mofos.
Desperate times. Desperate measures.
My disgust/disappointment managed to tuck its way even under extremely low expectations.
Imagine this. Its 11:30 pm at the Quincy Marriot. The bar kitchen closes. Room service is done. We're starving. The nice front desk lady gives us the Regal Cafe order menu with a verbal "at your own risk" disclaimer. The menu does not include the "name" of this fine establishment, which should have been enough of a red flag. Yet, again desperation (and hunger) kicks in.
A terrible lobster salad (yes, what was I thinking), generic pizza, and $45 later, we looked at the receipt, found the name, looked it up on Yelp and agreed vehemently that this is definitely a 1-star (since Yelp doesn't allow 0) spot.
FINE PRINT FOUND ON THE BACK OF THE MENU: "Free under 1 mile or before 11 pm. add $2.95 over 3 miles requires 3 qualifying items or 2 items plus a 6 pack or side order. Room service charge $1.95. Cards are authorized and charged at time of order. Charges are non-refundable. Gratuity will be added automatically if driver is not tipped.
Offers do not include desserts, sides or salads. Qualifying items must be large after 11 pm & smaller orders will default to Large after 11pm.
Drivers deliver in pairs after 11 PM for their safety. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO LIMIT MENU AND OR ADJUST PRICING AT ANY TIME" ..............!!! wtf!!!..... drivers deliver in pairs so they have someone to get their back when they are punched in the head.
MY STORY: I was hungry at 12:00 AM and found http://www.regal24hour... would deliver to East Boston when nothing else would. These people will deliver ANYWHERE..ANYTIME... If you are willing to pay for your food, plus additional food and drinks they are trying to get rid of/ or to lessen your extreme anger when there nice naive delivery boy comes knocking at your door with a bill three times the size it should be. I ordered a sub, jalapeno poppers and a cheeseburger. $53.90 was charged to the credit card I "had to give as security", but could opt to pay cash at arrival. I had the sweet delivery boy phone an incomprehensive and totally Greek manager of the pizzeria who was ready to fight when he was put on the phone. I hung up on him after he refused to give me an itemized bill of WHY THE HELL I AM PAYING $ 53.90 for 3 pieces of food. To my regret I paid the bill with cash (I should have sent the boy back) The food was sh*t. I checked my bank transactions and my card was charged the bill that I had already paid cash for. So I stuffed my $108.00 chicken parm sub and jalapeno poppers and french fries and 6 pepsi cans that I didnt order down my throat and went to bed feeling like a dumbbbbbbbbbbbbb loooooserrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! This place hasnt heard the last of me.
THIS IS A SCAM IF I HAVE EVER SEEN ONE!! DONT MAKE THe SAME MISTAKE!!

TERRIBLE- WORST PLACE I'VE EVER EATEN FROM!!! I ordered food from this cafe/pizza place around 1:00 am. It was the only all night delivery I could find in my area, and they said they delivered to my location. I ordered a large pizza, an order of buffalo wings, and some mozzerella sticks for my husband and I to reach the 20 dollar minimum. I put it on my credit card, and it should have cost $22.49 before tax. They delivered that..... plus 2 orders of french fries, and 6 soda cans that I did not order (I dont' even drink regular soda!). The total of the order was $49.90 - not what I was expecting to pay! Not only did they deliver food I didn't order, but they came 4 hours later than promised - I was sleeping!! This place should be put out of business for the awful service - and not to mention the awful food! it was so disgusting, we couldn't even eat it- I'm so glad I paid $50 bucks for cardboard and rotten chicken wings. It was absolutely disgusting. I did not authorize all this to be charged to my credit card and when I called them to let them know they made a mistake, and I wasn't going to pay for it- they hung up on me. Hack places like this should be closed down, it's not fair to the consumer. I filed a BBB complaint, and REGAL wouldn't respond to it. DONT GO HERE EVER! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!
