Having relocated to Va. Beach from Washington DC, I was happy to find an Aveda salon just down the road from me.  This salon is located at the end of an upscale marina that also houses the wonderful One Fish Two Fish restaurant.

The atmosphere is relaxing, and during my two years of coming to this salon, I was lucky to be under the talented care of Sheryl.  She took the time to find out what I wanted, and offered her own advice whenever I wanted it, but was never pushy.  The shampoos here were fantastic, and the prices were really reasonable!  My haircuts here were $35 during my first visits, and had gone up to $37 by the time I left.

Unfortunately, when I went back this summer Sheryl had left, but I still got a good haircut with someone new (sorry, I forgot her name).  She was significantly less experienced, but still patiently listened to what I wanted, and took the time to get it right.  To get (not even) that level of service in DC, I'd easily have to pay $75 and up.

I like this salon. Great stylists and always very soothing to look out at the water when getting your hair done.  Kelly is great for color and wants to make you happy (she always listens).  A little on the pricey side but Aveda  salons usually are.
