About the Business
Yelp has sent fake reviewers after our yelp account. It is amazing how far a corporate company or sick individual will go to defamate your small local business. That being said, we are a serious business and charge legitament prices for legitimate work. We have never had an unresolved issue with any of our real customers.

My wife and I hired Jake to do a Spring yard cleanup after seeing someone recommend his company on a local Facebook group. My wife outlined what we were looking for, Jake was hired to remove all the remaining leaves from this past Winter, as well as remove all the weeds from our lawn and back and side yards. He gave an indication that this would not be an issue when he responded with his estimate.
Jake's company came out on a Thursday and did remove most (not all) of the leaves from our yard, however the "weeding" that took place looked like him or his workers simply used a weed whacker or lawn mower to go over the areas that we asked to have weeds removed. You could still see plenty of weeds, they were just trimmed down. When I hire someone to remove the weeds from my yard, the expectation is that they do just that - remove them, by digging them up and disposing them.
My wife emailed Jake the following Monday to let him know that we weren't satisfied with the job that he provided, including photos of the areas in question. In my wife's email she mentioned that she showed her colleagues the photos while discussing the service we received (as we do a lot, we provide and receive feedback on many services from our co-workers because we value their opinions) and Jake's response was an offensive toned email to my wife, telling her that she shouldn't have shown her co-workers the photos she took and implied that she called his business a "nonprofessional hack company" (something she never did). He said that he would be back out to complete the job that Wednesday or Thursday. Those days past and Jake didn't come out, instead it wasn't until the following Monday that he emailed us and said that he came out and applied a higher concentrate weed killer. He also insisted that we make payment to him as soon as possible.
The service that Jake provided does not match the price that we paid him. If I was more involved in the hiring of Jake, I would have attempted to negotiate the price for the half done job that he did rather than having him come back out to our house, especially after the tone that he took in his email. I do not recommend Jake or his company.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Louis. I have made comments public on this matter, so with that being said, this will be a rather short reply.
1. When we came to do the clean-up, you had a fallen fence on your property which was covering leaves. Once the fence was removed and replaced we came back the next day and cleaned up any remaining leaves
2. Since weeds were of extremely invasive breeds, we had to put down weed killer and I made everyone aware that there may need to be additional applications. When I contacted you and your wife to schedule those additional applications I was met with silence over email and phone for over a week.
3. You and your wife took almost a month to pay the invoice that was due upon receipt and refused to tell me that you had issues with your finished product and instead decided to make a big stink over something that could have easily been fixed had you just stayed in contact with us.
4. No one from your household had time to mee to physically go over the job in person, and when we had missed something we didn't know you wanted done (this was our first time on your property), your wife went to people at her work, instead of contacting the owner or supervisor right away, this falls under the communication aspect.
5. We caught you on camera in the vicinity of our property and within a week after we had vandalism done to a piece of our equipment.
For any one reading this, please know that we are a stand up company and we are always out there preforming our best. If there is ever an issue brought to our attention by our customer, we send out and make good of the situation right away. Also, communication is key. We are not mind readers. - Vance Y.Weymouth, MA1192Dec 12, 2018
Great customer service, this company tended to all my needs. I was referred Jake through a fellow neighbor and was very pleased with results. Him along with his crew helped transform my leaf and weed invested yard into something truly beautiful. 5/5! Would recommend to anyone in need of leaf cleanups or even winter work

Unfortunately like one reviewer noted, Redzone is not satisfying its customers. What started out being a good neighborhood service has become excuses, no-show and very unprofessional. Too bad, really too bad. Specifically we had at least four no shows and when contacted there were promises of new schedule. Then nothing happened and less and less responses. We had to move on to another lawn care company.

Hi Justus, while we do not have your name "Justus A." In our system from any point and time, I would like to bring up a few different things. While I can't confirm that you have been a customer, the past year has been very difficult for us as the owner had a couple of accidents which lead to a couple pretty bad concussions. That being said, we informed all of our customers from the beginning that it may be a bit of a tough road due to the owners injuries. These injuries were a result of a fall from a height, and a motor vehicle accident (not at fault). Please understand that it is VERY hard to run a business with a severe concussion, and unfortunately concussions and post concussion syndrome do not go away over night.
All in all, we're sorry that you feel you had such a bad experience, but please know that events in life happen and there is nothing we can do about it. I can attest that the owner was not happy at all with the fact that he was injured and lost a few customers due to not being able to get out in the field. In conclusion, please keep this in mind when writing a review, or try us out again this upcoming year. Again I'd like to reiterate that we are a small locally owned company, so when the owner gets injured there is very little that can be done.
Thank you,
Kind regards
RedZone Team
