This rating should be higher, but the service is flighty.  One visit, it can be first class and make the experience one of the best ever, on another you can sit with an empty glass waiting to be filled for ten minutes.

Now their burgers are outstanding.  I've had several and they are are all excellent.  Not the best in the Nashville area, but still very good.  They have very good fries, and with meals that include fries, they are bottomless, meaning that if you walk away hungry, it's your own dang fault.

My wife has enjoyed her sandwiches, and my son loves the environment.  It has several televisions around, and they do a good job of keeping something interesting on them, but leaving the sound off so as not to be a distraction.  They have a lot of cute, historical, and humorous pictures on the surrounding walls, and the decor is unique without being outlandish.

However, the service on my most recent trip has left something to be desired.  Not only were my drinks not refilled in a timely manner, the server would disappear entirely, leaving me no way to track down the service I felt I should expect.  She would consistently say that we just needed to ask for what we wanted, but she wasn't there for us too ask all too often.

Suffice to say, Red Robin will always have good eats with a pleasant atmosphere, but it suffers the same trouble that a lot of these chains have, and that is service inconsistency.  It can be great and it can be crappy.  If you go, remember that.

This place Rocks. Free Balloons for the kids. I'm not saying that the food is Ruth Chris quality, and the noise level isn't low jazz. But their customer service policies are fantastic.

When I first ate a Red Robin in the mid 1990's, I opened a ketchup bottle that had fermented, turned gassy and thus exploded all over me and my date. Staff was there immediately cleaning, new dinners, new drinks, money to get our clothes cleaned, and everything was free. INSTANTLY. It was awesome.

I had never been to a Red Robin before until I went to this one in the new Providence center. It seemed very typical for this theme restaurant over all. The parking lot was great, lots of spaces. It wasn't too crowded on a Sunday night. The burgers were okay -  not bad and cooked to order. I had the Guacamole Bacon burger and it was pretty okay. It came with steak fries, which I usually like, but I wasn't impressed. It seemed as though not all of them were cooked all the way through. I liked the ranch dressing though that I dipped them in. I ordered a shirley temple from the bar and the first didn't have enough grenadine and the second had too much. Oh well.
