Agree with the other reviewer that the hotel has a dated feel to it. Must be all the wood paneling. Restaurant isn't bad as far as hotel restaurants go.

Spent a 4th of July here and they put me in a top floor room facing the fireworks.

"Gym" has the usual treadmill/elliptical and dumbbells. Sufficient floor space to work. Outdoor pool is heated to a comfortable temperature.

Hotel is on the outer fringes of downtown. A bit of a walk that can be unbearable midsummer. Hotel van can drop you off on the way to the airport but they seem to be rushing and are less than willing to make the little detour.

Oldish feel to the hotel and it's more in the commecial area of downtown, rather than being smack in the middle of downtown.  But I'd say it's one of the better midscale hotels in the area.

Fitness room is a really good size with plenty of equipment.  Good for people on business.  Free airport shuttle too.  But other than that, nothing stood out.

Seems to be one of the best hotel/motels to stay in here.  We got a nice room with two beds and sliding doors to the outside.  We've only stayed one night so far but it's reasonably priced, the desk is friendly and it's quiet, very quiet!

One glitch is that the wi fi did not work when we first arrived and it was very difficult to get it fixed.  It seems to be working now but is almost as slow as dial up.   That one thing is enough to make me not stay here again.

But it is clean, beds are comfortable and the bathroom is quite nice with incandescent lights...hooray...no flourescents!

It is close to downtown so if you are here on business that takes you to town, it's handy.

Overall a pretty descent Red Lion.  They are doing some renovations to the tower section but nothing that got in our way.  I always love when a hotel has good computers for you to use because I don't always lug around the laptop. Fitness center is descent.  The equipment is new but I've been starting to notice most new hotel gyms only carry a few bikes, a few treadmills and barbells and those stupid big grey balls.  I have no idea what people do with those things or how they became standard gym equipment.  I'd love to be the guy who invented a big ball that every gym must have.

Was a little let down when we asked for the van to drop us downtown on his next run the the airport.  Desk was kinda rude and said he was too behind to give us a lift, even though it was on his way and he was empty.
