Be very careful when you go to this place. Everything is soooo cute and affordable but still great quality. I love wearing things that pretty much no one else has, and that aren't too trendy.
I get compliments on everything I buy here and the girls who work here are super sweet, have great style and will help you out no matter what you need.
Their selection varies from all three stores, so check out Tiburon too.

I don't get up to Mill Valley much but when I have, I always remember to stop at this store. I could have easily spent a bengie or 2 in this place and been excited about all the clothes. It's like taking all the cool, hip individual pieces from the Savvy dept at Nordy's and planting it in this shop in Mill Valley. I was earring shopping today and wouldn't believe their selection. I also LOVE their displays. Instead of just hanging the earrings in a boring fashion (think dept store or Forever 21), they have them scattered around the store to make you move around, they are hung on these pretty branches in the middle of the store. And the prices are awesome! I picked up a beautiful pair of really light weight gold colored hoops with orange crystals on them for $16! I think this is the best women's shop in Mill Valley. I can't wait to go back again actually!
I absolutely love shopping here! You're guaranteed to find something cute in this boutique that none of your friends have! Their clothes are trendy - some on the bohemian side. Plus, they've got some really cute shoes. The pricing of their inventory varies however but, I've never been dissatisfied with a purchase there. I've also done some homework to see if the brands and labels are available online for cheaper and have not found this. I've gotten several compliments on my Tulle Denim Bib Jacket, which I've worn several times. I bought a pair of my favorite Matiko blue and white flats over the summer here, too, which I've also gotten compliments on. It turns out they were too small but, I didn't know this until I'd worn the hell out of them. But, when i told the sales girl she gave me a 40% discount on the correct size when I ended up buying a second pair. Anyone want my pair of 8's?
I've also been to the store on Chestnut in San Francisco and this store is never as crowded as that store, which has about half the square footage- a little claustraphobic.

I simply adore Red Dot! I haven't been to the two other locations but the Mill Valley shop is a dream! The prices at Red Dot run the gamut from affordable to not-so-much but all of it is cute, trendy, almost a vintage like appeal, which, I've embraced of late. All of the clothing has that boutique like feel to it, I feel that if I buy something at Red Dot, more than likely I won't see it on a hundred other girls!
I love to stop in during my lunch break, there is always something I want to snatch up!

Nice store. I've bought a few things there and the sales people were really helpful and nice. Good to know that they don't sell real fur because I'd never shop there if they did.

Red Dot carries really cute and mostly affordable clothing and accessories. I like to support this store because they understand that fashion doesn't have to be all about real fur and jacked up prices. If you want to know why it's important to not buy real fur, please visit www.furkills.com and see what kind of animal cruelty some of the other boutiques in Mill Valley are supporting. Rock on Red Dot!

loved this store when it first opened because it was actually a designer-esque outlet. it used to be all unique designers and fashiony yet unique clothing. now it's pretty upscale mainstream designer-y and way more expensive (think: the entire store used to be in the $20-60 range and now its mostly in the $40-200 range including trendy jeans and nice dresses) this store sorta got co-opted by the mill valley retail yuppiness. don't get me wrong, i still shop there occasionally and they have great e-coupons if you're on their mailing list, but it's more out of my price range than it used to be. one perk: unique shoes (faryl robin is my fave designer they carry that few other places have) and they sometimes have local jewelry artists represented.

Totally fun, but of course being a city girl, I tend to frequent the Chestnut and SOMA locations more.
Great store full of things that a young woman actually wants to wear and, better yet, can afford. Whoever buys for this store keeps with the trends without being too trendy/LAish.
I like the store in SF better, however there is nothing wrong with this location either. Cute, friendly staff and a good selections of clothing.
I only wish they had more than three or four dressing rooms.
Very friendly and helpful salespeople. I can usually find something cute at a good price here.
