Stopped in mid-week to meet a business associate. Nice, friendly atmosphere, the bartender was great.

First of all- playing some awesome 90's music that had been forgotten for years- definite plus!!
3:00 on a Friday so I can't judge crowd- I was solo in the restaurant and since I love to eat alone at times, I like I be left alone. They did just that, but of course got me a drink right away. And the music was loud enough that I didn't feel awkward in silence.
(PS- Happy Hour is 10am to 7:00pm!!!! This includes: $3 bottles of Mich Ultra, PBR, High Life, Miller Lite; $4 domestic pints, $5 well drinks, and $10 "bucket of nips.." Hmm).. :)
Free pint of domestic with a lunch special, nice. Ordered the cheeseburger deluxe with fries. Waitress brought me everything, even random mayo I normally have to ask or, before it came out. And why do I feel it's rare in NyC for them to ask "how" you want your burger..? Well she did, and I happily replied medium rare. :)
Food came out quickly! Perfectly medium rare.. Great fries.. Something different about them. In a good way.
FUN FACT: they have the little electronic game to play at the bar ;)

This is a pub that is right off the Mineola LIRR station on the north side of the tracks.
I used to drop one of my hostesses here after work and we would have a few while waiting for the train - which usually turned into 10 trains later and a cab home as we always met some very interesting people and had a blast.
They have decent bar grub to boot. -
