Rebecca's is a wonderful place for dinner or Sunday champagne brunch, they also have private function space for meetings or weddings. I guess I would call the food "resort hotel classic." They offer a variety of beef dishes, they'll do Bananas Foster at your table, etc.
We like to do the brunch occasionally (you should consider reservations for it) and go for special occasions. Not an inexpensive place, but it's the best food for a hundred miles for fine dining.
Their web site states "Rebecca's dress code is Resort Casual for breakfast and lunch. Although dinner in Rebecca's is considered "Fine Dining" Resort Casual wear is acceptable." Most of Southern New Mexico is very casual when it comes to dining, it's kind of nice to dress up for dinner when you're going here.
Visiting The Lodge at Cloudcroft naturally we had lunch at Rebecca's. Dishes were well made but nothing special. The setting is very nice as you look out through the window looking at the mountain scenery.
