One of the Business' Favorite Reviews What's This?
An easy 5 stars! Rebar is jut an incredibly sweet place. It's a vast two room space in a warehousey type of building which, as I learned from the venue, was once a ferry depot when servicing ferries was DUMBO's main purpose prior to the Bklyn Bridge being built. The decor is minimal but charming, keeping the open, airy lightness of the space in full focus.
As I waited for my new friend to arrive for a chat (this is a great spot to meet up for a casual convo, BTW), an extremely friendly and drop dead gorgeous bartender described several of their 15 tap beer offerings to me in scintillating detail. Wanting something light, I settled on a pint of liquid gold, which was just lovely. Yes, this stunningly hot girl and her vividly detailed knowledge of beer contributes to my affection for this place.
I poked around a bit and discovered a back room with a pool table, internet juke box, comfy couches, and 2 flat screen TVs. They got wireless 'net in their too (the hot girl told me).
The menu looked pretty interesting too, so I'll have to go back and update this 'ere posting after sampling a bit of their fare. Definitely go here though, this place is sick.
This is THE spot! Large and in charge!! Perfect for a hosting a group event or getting a bunch of friends together or even just a small intimate rendezvous! Very versatile. Very beautiful.
I love the spacious, warehousey ambiance that doesnt feel the least bit cold or industrial. Rebar manages to keep the space cozy and comfortable.
I didnt try the food but the drinks were smashing!
Rebar is one of my favorite spots in DUMBO. The space is beautiful, and incredibly versatile. Also, there's something about high ceilings that just makes me happy, which might explain why I'm so grumpy in my cramped, squat apartment. But for some reason, I hadn't eaten at Rebar until last week.
So we stopped by for dinner, and ordered the Rebachi platter: a flaming hibachi with marinated grilled chicken, hangar steak, chorizo, Merguez sausage, vegetables, roasted potatoes and assorted antipasti, served with chimichurri, spicy peanut, aioli and mustard sauces. Doesn't that sound awesome?
It takes a long, LONG time, but when it comes out, the Rebachi looks fantastic. It's especially impressive when your waitress uses her fingers to transfer the candle flame to cup of oil in the center. (It's slightly less impressive that it keeps going out.)
The people at the next table will stare at it longingly, especially if you moan with pleasure at each bite. Sadly, it doesn't taste as good as it looks, your date will be creeped out by your constant moaning, and you will be left with an enormous plate of average skewers to eat on your own.
Don't get it twisted; it was solid. I enjoyed all the meaty options, which for the most part were cooked well. However, to make this thing great, the sauces and side options would need to be better. The potatoes, peppers and onions were not too bad, but the "assorted antipasti" was nowhere to be found. More disappointing were the sauces: the chimichurri and the peanut sauce were merely decent, and the mustard was completely uninteresting and the aioli was straight mayo.
I'll be back to embarrass my friends on the pool table, and to embarrass myself at the bar, but I don't think I'm getting the Rebachi again.

FYI: The bathrooms directly next to the dining room? Yeah, those aren't for your use. Someone will come over and tell you after you stand for 10 minutes outside the locked door with the "Men" sign on it.
After attending the Asian Literary Festival at nearby Powerhouse Arena, and seeing the Experience of Green exhibition at Dumbo Arts Center (yeah, I dig DUMBO!), VH and I were feeling kinda thirsty. Since neither one of us had been to Rebar before, we gave it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover a very large bar/dining area on the second floor. I particularly liked the long hardwood bar and the equally long communal wooden surface that connects the brick columns in the room. The overall vibe is welcoming: this seems a bar with a lot of style but very little attitude. I also liked the fact that there weren't too many people around, the music was just in the background, and we could enjoy our drinks while having a nice conversation.
Being a bit of a beer lover, I was happy to see the extensive list of draft beers. Out of the 15 or so drafts, I chose a Sly Fox Ichor Quad ($8), which was very rich in taste, with a hint of dark fruits. My gf had a cucumber martini ($10), and the bartender did an excellent job: he wasn't shy on the alcohol, without being overpowering. I'm not big on cocktails, but these were ten bucks well spent. The drinks menu also features a series of beer-inspired cocktails...
The menu also looked tempting enough for us to come back. Yeah, we dig DUMBO!
Romantic, dark, and dreamy are 3 adjectives that come to mind. It was really hard to determine if this place was going to be any good from the outside, but we took a gamble! The wide stairs lead into 2 beautiful rooms upstairs. We had arrived just when it got dark, and the place was dimly lit with many candles, and although it was quite spacious, also felt quite cozy. I ordered a cucumber martini and MR had a draft beer, both excellent. From what I could tell, the beer list is extensive, so for all those beer connosieurs, this is a place for you. The staff were laid back, and helpful.
We did eye the menu quite a bit and were tempted to order, but in the end, decided to pass, perhaps next time we will go back and try brunch!
I extremely like the fact that this bar opens into the rest of the second floor, and when you go to the restroom, you pass by several art studios. Very kewl. Art and spirits always go well together!
BTW...they were also playing Prince, I love him and I am not afraid to say it!
I am indebted to you, Rebar.
Not too long ago, my fiance and I shared a duplex apartment with some friends. It was kind of a dump, but it had a courtyard and lots of space, so it was perfect for parties. We've moved on since, but our love for throwing big parties - particularly Halloween parties - has not dwindled.
When it came time to find a place for what would undoubtedly be our biggest and best shindig yet, I knew Yelp would be the place to find it. I ran a search for back rooms and party spaces and Rebar came up. It was a total "Ah-ha!" moment.
I had been to Rebar before, on a rainy day in DUMBO. I remembered it as a fantastic space with a kick-ass pulled pork sandwich. So I sent out an email to Jason, the owner. I was pleased as punch when he called me back almost immediately. I told him what we were looking for (Halloween party, something around 60 guests, and can we play our own music?). He gave me a detailed rundown of what he could offer, directed me to where I could see some pictures of the space we'd be renting, and within less than 24 hours we had a sweet place to throw our party.
Throughout the planning process, Jason and his staff made everything super easy and everyone was an absolute pleasure to do business with. When the big night came, we were set up in the Low-rider: a long, impeccably designed space with multiple flat screen TVs and a sound system, plus its own bar and seating aplenty. All of our guests were blown away. The food and service were both excellent, the prices are more than fair, and the surroundings made for some spectacular photos. All of the staff was in costume and filled with the fun spirit of Halloween. I couldn't have asked for more.
I heartily recommend Rebar to anyone planning an event in the future, or to anyone who wants to grab a tasty meal in a magnificent space run by people I really admire and appreciate. Thank you Rebar!
Came here during the DUMBO Arts festival, so I'll give them a pass on how slow the service was. It was insane everywhere.
But on to Rebar: it's wonderful. The space is great, a combination of modern and historic, and absolutely fitting with the artsy vibe Dumbo tries to present. Loved the exposed vaulted ceiling, and I want to work for their lighting designer.
The food was good, and hit the spot. After walking around all afternoon, we were looking for simple straight forward food. Between the four of us we ordered the pulled pork sandwich, skirt steak sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich and shrimp panini. Everyone was happy with how tasty they were.
Also really good beer selection.
I'd been to DUMBO before, but hadn't quite found places to enjoy. I'll definitely be back to Rebar
I'd been to Rebar for events and of course for drinks but never for eats. Although my dish was a bit wanting, it was still pretty good and the accompanying salad with just a drizzle of dressing was ideal. My date's dish looked a lot better, the Lamb Crepes, and if I was a meat eater I would've tried some. That all said, I would definitely go back since they have a decent amount of vegetarian options.
The best part of the meal was definitely my Pumpkin Ale. Ahhhh! It was so good my date (a non-beer drinker) couldn't help but order and eventually enjoy her own. Also, the hostess seated us in a nice intimate spot and gained high points for that. Oh, last thing, our waiter was very helpful and wasnt' annoying at all, yet did check in at the right time. He got a nice tip for that - service means everything to me.
This place is designed for conversation, but can be used for a waitered lunch as well, just as a car is designed to drive on concrete but can do on grass as well, don't bump your hopes up that the waiter should come with one hand back asking you in a french accent numerous times, 'how's the foie gras' 'some more perrier ' 'our chocolate desert is a real delight'. just order your food at the bar, plunge down and relax.
Enormous loft, clean from wall creatures, lovely exposed bricks, clean air and some art like the painted car hood, food plates have a reserved corner of dark vinaigrette with some swimming mesclun.
I lunched here for the first time, while estimating a project in DUMBO. A great cafe, lovely service and first rate salads.
The Genevieve Salad (with grilled chicken) was fabulous! The chopped cucumber, light amount of blue cheese and marinated herb-y chicken were wonderful additions. I feel they added too much dressing *for my tastes* so I would ask for it on the side in the future.
The atmosphere was wonderfully comfortable, with beautiful hardwood floors, comfy chairs and couches (and a puzzling 'rolling' sofa that my Dad nearly fell off of..) but total zen artsy vibe with pretty chandeliers, wrought-iron decorations into the bar area and terracotta arched ceilings.
I hope I win this bid at my company so I can cafe/lunch and work there (free wifi!) all autumn long!
This is a fantastic place to have in DUMBO. The atmosphere is chill. The bar area is large and inviting. And the bartenders are super nice. It was one of the only places that serves food late night in the area.
The food has alot of vegetarian options, and is reasonably priced. I wouldn't say it is the best food I have eaten; it is ok. Good enough for a healthy late night bite that isn't fried bar food.
The other bar off in a side room has djs, couches, and games. I haven't ventured over there yet. But, it looks like it has a real speakeasy vibe. Follow up soon.
Before heading to watch Raising Arizona at the Movies with a View event we stopped in here for take out to complete our picnic. We ordered paninis which were really delicious. The prices are normally ($9.75 including the tax for a panini) and the service is fast. I got the portabello panini and my friend got the spicy shrimp panini. We both expressed how yummy the sandwiches were after devouring them.
Also, I used the bathroom which made me aware that this bar shares space with art studios. How cool would that be to be an artist in this building! The space is really unique and spacious. I loved the layout and the way it is decorated. I would definitely go back here.
This was my second time here (the first time was after a Yelp event!) and my initial opinion was confirmed- I really like this place.
It's a huge space with a cozy feel.
Maybe it's the dim candle-y lighting
maybe it's the long, lustrous, shellacked, last-supper/ family-style, knotted wood table in the center
maybe it's the friendly, laid-back demeanors of the bartenders
or maybe it's a combination of all of the above that create the chill vibe of Rebar.
There is lots of beer and bottles to choose from but not lots of people.
This is the type of bar you make friends at because you want to, not because you are forced to exchange sweat samples with them.
I came on a Friday night and the DJ was spinning great flashback 80s and 90s music, a pleasant surprise. People were dancing like mad on the wooden-planked floors living out their Flash Dance dreams. It was the sort of stupid-happy atmosphere only a Brooklyn bar can provide.
So, If you're looking for low-profile but fun night full of quality drinks, interesting people, and retro music this is definitely the place to go.
I will be sure to REturn.
*The following will double as a review for Rebar and the conversation I imagine I would have if I ever run into a one night stand from my past.
Heyyyy.....you. You got me pretty drunk the other night, most of the details of the time we spent together are a bit hazy. I do remember that I enjoyed being in you. And it was fun exploring all of your nooks and crannys. I was especially surprised how deep I was able to penetrate into you. Sorry I had to bolt so soon after sampling your goodies, but you know, it was late and I uh, had to get an early start in the morning. Maybe I'll see you again sometime, you know, if I'm in the neighborhood. Well...gotta get going, hey thanks again.
We went here after the Elite event at Water Street Restaurant for an after party.
You have to walk upstairs to the dining area but it's very large and has a nice ambiance.
The food on the other hand is only decent. My leg of duck was very dry and it comes with some sort of potato pancake that they need to scrap from the dish altogether. The grilled chicken salad was much tastier after a few bites but slightly on the sour side.
I think the venue is great for larger parties and fairly inexpensive.
On another note - This building is huge! There's all types of long hallways past the guys with the sewing machines. Plus by the bathroom there's a staircase that leads up to another floor .........just in case you wanted to indulge in your own personal case of drunken debauchery!
Dear Rebar,
You are beautiful inside and out. I wish I could be as beautiful as you.
You supported me in my times of need. You magically provided me with free and delicious chips, salsa and guac AND a beer. You let me sit in your gorgeous bar stools and your comfy couches in the semi-secret corridor. You allowed me the pleasure of getting to know other fellow eliters and their fabulous +1s.
If cab drivers actually knew how to navigate to and from you, I would love to hang out again soon. But not just because you're beautiful though. That would be superficial.
Love,
Monica
My friends had their wedding reception here last summer, so I can't comment on how Rebar is on a regular night with a regular crowd. That being said, I quite enjoyed myself and so did everyone else. The wedding day had a few glitches but none of them were due to the reception space. Judging by other reviews it seems like they cleared out alot of stuff for us and towards the end of the night also let us hang (and destroy) a pinata. The bartenders were cool, no NY attitude detected by the hordes of out-of-towners. Plenty of beers to choose from and they also mixed up some mighty fine drinks. I don't know if the catered food was from Rebar, but it probably was; if that's the case I definitely recommend the chips and salsa/guac and the paella wasn't bad either. Even the vegans had something to balance out the heavy drinking. Plenty of tables, lots of room, you could dance or find a (relatively) quiet corner to talk. Large bathrooms that make you feel a little like you're in an airport or back in high school, but no waiting, so woohoo to that! The space is large and kinda dark with exposed brick walls and high ceilings. Feels both cozy and airy. My friends decorated with these cute little lantern lights, and the bar liked them and asked if they would leave them up. One less thing to deal with, no prob. I saw the lanterns in some Yelp photos so they must still be up! Overall we all agreed Rebar was an excellent reception venue, and it seems like a generally cool bar as well. Cheers!
I went here last night after the Yelp elite event. They have a really nice beer selection with several smart choices available to the beer connoisseur. Unfortunately the bar itself is not terribly interesting. It's really bright and open, and there isn't much for the eyes to look at. It's functional, but it really doesn't stand out in any way. I would expect something much hipper in DUMBO. Oh well.
2.5 stars
I only came here for the chicken Genevieve salad on Tuesday night. There was a loud group of people at the bar. I believe that they call themselves yelpers.
I didn't have a drink but I could see that these yelpers were having a grand old time at this bar. I overheard them ordering different types of beer such as chimay grand reserve, Kapuziner Hefeweizen, and dogfish head 90 IPA. I proceeded to eat my delicious salad and left the second that I could.
I will definitely visit Rebar again just when those damn yelpers aren't there.
This review is for two separate visits.
our first visit was easily 1.5-2 stars. We came for brunch, and heard good things about this one. Anyone who knows me, knows JUST how much I love breakfast. Breakfast here was bad. Coffee was BURNT, the eggs were dry and rubbery... It's scrambled eggs, this isn't hard. It's like eggs 101. I was unimpressed. The bacon - which I don't hate, but almost NEVER eat, was vile. It was as if it was baked and then placed in a dehydrator. I took one bite of what looked like thick-cut bacon and it literally crumbled in my mouth. It was pretty bad.
The next visit was a later, non-food-related stop. Since it is a bar and all...
The drinks were okay. I ordered a vodka lemonade (Vodka, vanilla vodka, simple syrup, soda and muddled lemon) and it was just way way way too sweet. Just too much vanilla. The actual restaurant was beautiful. I just wasn't all that impressed with the rest of the situation.
This is one of my favorite bars to go to on a Friday or Saturday night if I want something a bit nicer than a pub. When the DJ is in, it's the best.
The place itself is nice and they have a good beer selection...of imported beers, I dont think they serve Bud Light or Sam Adams...or American beer for that matter. I really like the atmosphere here and there is a good mix of people that come here.
This place also serves dinner, I only had a few appetizers and they were very good, looking forward to having dinner here at some point. They usually have a good amount of bartenders on hand and they're friendly enough.
Dress/casual.
$2 off any drinks before peak hours, so $2 off the $4 rice beer = $2 a pint (simple math) great $8 grilled chicken with mozzarella or $9 hanger steak sandwich with nice little greens w/light dressing, awesome.
great place to relax at the lounge or tables or the bar, and i like the exterior lamps actually made from re-bars, creative.
The first thing to notice is that it's a block and a half from the entrance to the F stop at York. That is convenient for those who frequent the F, either for chump change or because they happen to live around the line.
It's a good place for mixers (read: digital DUMBO) as it divides the space into an interesting but certainly airy configuration. Most of the formal sitting down is done to the left of the stairs as you walk up. It's just open with several tables. You probably don't feel in place actually eating there as there's more space to lounge around and bar hug. Behind the host podium/stand there is a eclectically furnished room with a small bar. Go straight ahead and you are at the shiny wood long bar with a long high table and plenty of seating, although with all the space in the lobby-like front, it can get crowded.
DUMBO's crowd is decidedly particular, there's a lot of new media, online, and agency people here. Very business casual I guess.
Since the railing kind of wraps around, there's a whole corner somewhat sectioned off with seating in case your party wants to elongate.
With the high ceilings and chatter, it's just a good overall space, a healthy competitor to Superfine.
The drink prices could leave me with a few more bucks though, I'm not going to lie.
I was in the area to check out the photo festival 09. went in here for brunch!!
I have to admit I wanted to give it 4 stars initially.. this place totally reminds me of the place I went in London.. completely won me heart by the unique entrance style..
You walked in with a small cafe on the side.. the actually dinning area is upstairs and very spacious. we got seated right away.. wasn't crowded at all.. but the more i learned about this place the less I liked about this place.
I realized after all it's just a big warehouse with cheap tables and seats.. if you pay attention to the details. I'm not gonna lie.. food was DECENT!! service was slow..
First, the space is beautiful. Whether it's for a drink or a meal, it's lovely to sit in a spacious, unique room relaxing with good art and friends.
The brunch was lovely -- slightly disappointed that they ran out of sangria though. Will have to return to indulge a sangria fix and to check out ReBar at night.
Went for lunch. Which probably shouldn't have bothered, as I think its probably better as your local after work watering hole. For a quick mid-week lunch, it just doesn't work. The waitress was so incredibly slow. Didn't know the items on the menus, was incredibly spacey, and just seemed to operate at a snail's pace. Lunch menu is also pretty limited -- not many items to choose from, and then they also ran out of whatever was on the menu. Not worth the bother for a quick business lunch. Maybe will try them for drinks next time.
I want to give this place a better review so badly, but, at least today, so many things were off- out of half the menu/drinks and a credit card machine that was down (if I had a dollar for everytime I've heard that...) yes, the beer selection is very good and ambiance is charming in a gypsy loft format - worth stopping in if you're passing through dumbo...but they really need to tighten up the ship a bit.
Wow, this place is cool! I picked this place for brunch and was not disappointed. The space is massive and has a bunch of different seating options - bar, tables, couches, stools by the window. The staff was friendly and our waiter could really have a career as an Orlando Bloom lookalike if he so chose.
I ordered the ham & egg sandwich, minus the ham, and Orlando Bloom said that's how he orders it too. It was DELICIOUS. The sandwich comes served on a brioche bun (always a plus) with swiss cheese, watercress, and some roasted tomato relish. There was also a side salad that really would have been better with more dressing, as there were maybe 4 drops of dressing on it. And there were some roasted potatoes but they kind of skimped on those - I got maybe 6 on my plate. I'm not big on potatoes so I didn't mind, but if I were a real potato lover I would have felt shafted. My sandwich was so yummy that these other minor issues didn't affect my experience.
I definitely want to come back for drinks sometime. This seems like it would be a fun place to chill out and chat over a few cocktails.
I went here for dinner before the Yelp event at the Water Street Restaurant, and was pumped this place turned out to be a great find.
They have a big overall selection of beers, and a good random selection of beers on tap. Between two people having an appetizer, dinner, and a beer each, we paid $44 total. That's pretty fair, IMO.
The bathrooms are way down a hallway that leads to other businesses, which sort of seems odd but I guess isn't in DUMBO.
There's a cool bar area which I plan on visiting in the future, and I will certainly be back for dinner here again.
Real-life kitchen nightmare: Wandering around DUMBO on Valentine's night, we found this place using Yelp on my iPhone. (Superfine was booked up all night.) reBar seated us right away. The room looked very attractive, and a delicious smell emanated from somewhere in the back. The beer list also looked impressive. The waitress took our orders promptly. Unfortunately, that's when the trouble started.
After a half-hour, we had seen no sign of our appetizer, chicken skewers. A inquiry to the waitress resulted in her returning from the kitchen to announce that the printer had broken, and our order had only just gone through to the chefs. To the restaurant's credit, the waitress immediately offered to comp our appetizer and a round of drinks. However, we further sat and waited while people who came in after us were served. Bizarrely, this very situation had been portrayed in the episode of "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" that I had watched only a few hours before!
When the food finally arrived, the chicken skewers arrived, very quickly followed by our sandwiches and another order of the chicken skewers. While tasty, the four skewers each contained only a single thumb-sized cube of chicken, which seemed parsimonious, considering the $5 price. Had we actually paid for them, I would have felt even more annoyed. My companion enjoyed her hanger steak sandwich. I found the pulled pork sandwich ("The Rebar") small, and the meat seemed to have a slightly off flavor.
I am basing my review on a single, somewhat negative experience. One would imagine, however, that a restaurant would try to be on its toes on Valentine's night, of all times. Perhaps the fact that it wasn't packed on that night should have been a tip-off.
I'm a huge fan of ReBar. One of the only places I know that can accommodate fun, lively after work drinks, intimate dinner, quiet laptop/reading/alone time and late night fun all in the same space. Oh - and there's also that great "back" room with couches, TVs and a pool table, live music some nights and different events happening (DJs, dance classes, etc.) if you're into that sort of thing. I especially love grabbing a coffee from downstairs and holing up upstairs with my laptop and a book as the sun streams through the windows in the afternoon. *sigh*
The drinks/beer/wine are all good, interesting and well priced - especially in the beer and wine department. The food is very tasty - I'm addicted to their salads with pan seared salmon or steak on top.
Disclaimer: It also doesn't hurt that I can walk out of my apartment and be in ReBar in under 10 paces. Location. Location. Location.
I'm going to do another update. Now that I work down the street from Rebar it is my new local watering hole.
It's just PERFECT for DUMBO.

I love this place. I can grab a cup of great organic coffee on the way to work for $2 and if I'm hungry at lunch I can browse through their menus and search for a new panini to try. They also serve quick to-go soups and chilis downstairs at the coffee bar. I've only eaten upstairs once, but it was to entertain a colleague and she was definitely into it's vibe.
The setting is perfect for Dumbo, I just wish I could drag my friends out of Manhattan to try hanging out at the bar. Their beer selection kind of rules.
Huge place with the size and feel of a warehouse, albeit a really nice warehouse. Rebar has it all: a bar, dining area with tables, couches and apparently a back room with TVs, couches and a pool table. Last time I was here blues music was playing, which was a nice touch. I went once on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the loud crowds and raucous bar scene which are all too common among New York nightspots on the weekend were nowhere to be found here. I'm looking forward to trying the food next time I'm at Rebar.
I'll keep going back to Rebar... here's why:
Kick-ass amaretto sours. Quiet (great place to have a conversation with friends or just write/read-- yes, I read in bars!). Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Friendly bartenders. Enough said.
I love the old furniture, the service, the prices, the selection, the food, the crowd, and the pool table. I should maybe give it 5 stars, but I'm writing this on a Monday morning so I'm grumpy.
We ordered a bottle of wine (though they have a really lovely selection of Belgian beers too), the price of which was great (less than $30), and the service of which was just as great. The chips were straight out of a bag, but the guacamole was fresh and pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. I think we also had a vegetable panini or some such sandwich, and I remember that being good too.
I would definitely come here more often if I lived closer.
Good food, great Beer selection, friendly staff! A big open space and affordable!
We went there for brunch, rebar omelet, spinach omelet and coffee (which does not have free refills). Eh, not a big deal, very little veggies, the portions are small and not very yummy. As David Sedaris once put it, "This was so bad... and there was so little of it." Waiters are slow and have a bit of attitude. The atmosphere is interesting, the art is cool. There is a place right down the street that has a better brunch menu complete with waffles and pancakes, but it has a country theme. Rebar doesn't even have waffles or pancakes or variety of eggs here (just omelets). the menu is quite bare.
Went here on a Thursday night and had a good time. Very mellow, non pretentious, easy vibe. Sat at the middle section stools/bar and made conversation with random guys in front of us. Drinks were good ($10 though), food was decent (shrimp sandwhich), company entertaining.
Very cool spot! Brought date here to meet up with my friends. Granted it's a little out of the way, but a really neat spot. It looks like you basically invaded someone's loft filled with comfy couches and dim lighting. Plus, anywhere that offers Westmalle Triple is a-ok in my book! having just returned from a two week stint in Belgium, I am most definitely still on a big beer trip. And having some awesome beer, well, you rock. Even though it was 3 euro in Belgium and $11 there...I guess the exchange rate really kills, eh?
The bathroom trip is an interesting one, you suddenly end up inside a shopping mall of some sort? Brooklyn is weerd.
