I am not from around here (I live in L.A.) but I was visiting my family for the holidays and wanted to take my niece to get her ears pierced (I'm that kind of Uncle)...it was something she wanted but she was very nervous about it and I wanted to find a place that was good for that kind of thing for kids (she is 6). A friend had mentioned this place and I didn't even know places like this existed (again, the no kids thing) so I said let's give it a try!
I am soooo glad we came here. She was a little scared but they totally warmed her up and made it a fun, girly experience like a little girl's first ear piercing should be! The staff was attentive and went out of their way to alleviate her nervousness and make it a pleasant experience. That really impressed me and truthfully what I like the most is that at the end of it all it made me seem like the awesome Uncle for taking her here!
Her ears probably wouldn't be pierced now had I not taken her here! -

Best. Party. Ever.
We had 8 girls at an 8 year old shared birthday party this weekend. The young women doing the beautification and leading the party games were awesome! They were patient, upbeat, and full of energy. It was so fun for our girls and really entertaining for the moms and dads to watch.
I recommend getting the party room for an extra fee - that gave us a nice place to sit and have cake, and have the girls bask in their fabulousness. We never felt rushed, and everything went very smoothly.
I would give a hearty 5 stars, except I am still confused by the tally of expenses. I think splitting the check may be hard for the store's systems to process, and the itemization of charges on the bill needed to be much clearer. For instance, there was a $50 store credit listed out and we don't know what that was. And, we wanted to leave tips in the credit card slips, but it didn't seem possible to show which credit card the tip should be charged to. I think that if we could have paid up early, while the party was getting started, and had cash for the tips, this would have been much less confusing.
I would be happy to have another party here - it was pretty nearly perfect. -

Adorable overpriced junk....in a nice way!
My daughter loves this super girly store. She even wants to plan her birthday party here.
We walked in on a weekend and they were pretty busy but still made time to put a couple of feather hair extensions in my daughters hair, and it only cost $6 each! That was the only thing I could afford, jk. -

Oops, they moved a bit far but to a much nicer area...
Just bought a gift card for an intern of mine who has just passed state board exam and become a licensed acupuncturist. As a father my self, I understand how much he appreciates the enormous love and support from his wife and two little sweet daughters over last few years.
My daughter had her 10th BD party at this place and it was the best ever. It is not easy to earn a compliment from a little like her (shhh...very picky). She has even talked about this place with her friends on her 13th BD two months ago.
I have been waiting until today to surprise my friend and his two little girls. Go have a lot of fun! -

I wouldn't say "a-ok", just "ok". I never visited the Westgate Mall location but this shop is quite tiny. We went for a party and that seemed to take most of the space. The small shop space is mostly accessories and decorations. The pink and black "salon" area has about 10 chairs.
The "rock star" makeovers weren't as crazy as I thought they'd be (for five year olds). Different fancy hairstyles for each girl (with lots of glitter, beware), nail polish (covered in sparkles), tiniest bit of color on lips and eyes (also sparkly). The rock star part was the head set mic headpiece.
The employees, who weren't the most friendly, but worked with the girls well, did some music and dance games until we went into the party room for cake and ice cream. Seems like a popular place. There was a party before us and after us. They can overlap a bit with some in the party room while a new group gets made over.
I don't know of any particular parking but even on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too bad. The entrance is up a short flight up steps so it's not very stroller friendly.
Not a bad addition to bring stores for the younger crowd in Los Gatos. -

Bad employees with bad attitudes? Maybe. If you are going to aim your business towards tween/teen girls, then you best be prepared to provide them customer service.
So what that you seem to hire teenagers (although I'm sure they're of age) - train them to treat everyone equally, especially their mom's with the credit card!.
Who cares if your young employee(s) may not care for the girl(s) in the store - she doesn't need to cop an attitude with them by not even acknowledging them (or the mom with the credit card!).
You have a great concept business in a relatively affluent area of San Jose - keep that in mind!!! Your employee(s) ruined a trip to the mall. However, your employee(s) ruined your sales that day!!!
You have an obligation to your business to evaluate feedback - both negative and positive, and adjust your business/hiring practices accordingly.
In fairness to your business, our experience is based on your employees, not your store. We entered the store and received a rolling of the eyes and an audible "tsk" from your employee. As we turned and left, we heard giggling. At the time we entered, we appeared to be the only potential customers in your store. Our experience was an employee experience and last all of but probably 10 seconds before we spun heel and left.
Don't blame us for your problems - blame yourself and the employees you hire! -

This place is not welcome to people who just want to browse the store. No hello, no may I help you... customer service gets an "F". My wife and I joked that no one worked there, despite the fact that the worker was sitting dead center of the store buffing her fingernails.
Although a handful of the clothing there is cute, there are only 2 racks of clothes in its entirety, including sleepwear. Most of it was out of season, and the store lacks quality and innovation.
I can't say much for the parties, but that they do not go hand in hand with their service.
Don't go here during the week. No fun. -

We had a party here for 6 year old girls. The staff was friendly and really patient with the kids -- who were a bit overwhelmed by all the toys, clothes, hairstuff, lotions, games and dancing. It took the moms' attention to keep the girls focused a bit, but it worked fine. It is certainly dad kryptonite (all the pink, let alone seeing their daughter in makeup).
I'm not a girlie girl in the least, but the kids seem to adore being the center of attention, getting all fancy and having fun with each other. It's perfect for parties catering to the princess phase of girls' lives. Also, their webkinz addiction. -

I am surprised by the other reviews, although I do not doubt them. Teenage employees in general are hard to manage. We experienced this store when it was at Westgate Mall. The owner was often in the store, and she and the staff were VERY attentive. After a few trips to this store, we decided to have a party here. It was the most successful (and expensive) party we have ever had. Usually, a large portion of kids do not make it to parties, but when people heard their party was at Razzberry Lips, every single person showed! We were not expecting this (financially) but managed to embrace the turn out. I still bring my kids here for "special" occasions. They did my daughters hair, beautifully, when they were flower girls. The sparkles to stay in...but mine love that! I view it as getting more for our money! hehehe. If we go to a nice event, such as a ballet or Christmas party, we take the girls here. It just seems that nice hair, sparkles, and sparkly nails seem to go with the pretty (expensive) dresses they only wear once or twice. They feel like princesses, and they are already growing up so fast...this won't be their "thing" much longer. We have enjoyed the experience Razzberry Lips has given our kids, and I am thankful for them...I could never do all that! We do ask to have very little or no make up...that's just our "thing".

I came into this store with another adult friend of mine who was looking for some gloves.
There were about 3 teen girls (employees) sitting around yapping with each other and nobody even acknowledged us. They looked at us, but didn't say a word. When my friend asked if they carried dress gloves the girls seemed bothered to have to answer our question. I asked about how much their ear piercing was and another girl said she didn't know.
Great customer service!! NOT. -

Razzberry Lips is a lot like the Sanrio store, with lots of cutesy items that appeal to little girls and way more pink than should appear in one place. The apparently do piercings and birthday parties (I'm guessing generally not together).

If you come for a party or just for shopping i would recommend parya or paria I dont know how to spell her name but she was very helpful. She helped us in every way possible and she even did a WONDERFUL makeover. This young girl that i took there for fun had a great time. She loved everything and came out as good as new!
