I had the chance to experience the work of Mish & Shannon.... they are 2 extremely talented stylists!!! Their cuts & color jobs are AMAZING!!!! They both are extremely skilled.... I absolutely LOVED their colors jobs.... full of depth & dimension.... I highly recommend them.
I LOVE this place! Only because my favorite hairstylist in the whole wide world works here! Here name is Shannon and she's amazing. :-)
She can do anything! I have curly hair and she gives me the best straight cuts ever.-This means I can wear my hair straight or curly and it looks great either way. If I didn't live in San Francisco right now I'd go see her religiously every three months! If you want a creative, funky haircut, Shannon is your gal.
Awesome salon above the 20/20 on Santa Monica Blvd, a block past Crescent Heights. Rocker, urban feel to the space with luxe chairs and booths. Ask for Ray Ortiz! I told him to do whatever he wanted with my hair and he gave me a sixties mod styling of an a-line bob, with gorgeous blended chunks of copper, brown, and platinum. One of the coolest haircuts of my life at a STEAL. Plus, he's an interesting cat... I don't know how many salons I've been to where the haircut is standard and the stylist is soo boring, I want to hide my head in a magazine after minute five. Not that way with Ray. The guy is an artist. One minute he's talking shop, the next he's detailing the exploits of his other nine lives-- as grunge singer, b-boy, writer, fashion designer, graffiti artist..(the list goes on). His tastes in music, politics, and film are eclectic, expansive and worth knowing about. Seriously. It's not just a haircut.
great place to get a haircut in. this joint has a rocker/greaser feel about the joint. the stylists are skilled and friendly. plus, in the back is a tattoo joint so you can get styled and inked up all in one joint! talk about looking fresh and artistic at the same time, this is the spot! oh, and ask for todd, he's a fantastic stylist and colorist that's done work for celebrities and yours truly!
