I used Ray to shoot a sitting with my elderly grandmother, he got the images I could never get of her, they, and she, were beautiful.  He asked me to post a review in reaction to a defaming posting after our session.  Doing so here, I stand behind him and offer my full support.  There is NOTHING unprofessional about him or his photography, he's the best I've ever used and recommend him to everyone.

While visiting Sacramento, California, my husband and I explored the surrounding areas and discovered a quaint  photography studio, Ray Johnston Designer Photography,  in downtown Davis, California.  We were drawn inside the studio after admiring the professionalism of the artist's display in the storefront window and were greeted most graciously.  We made an appointment with owner Ray Johnston to have our portrait taken, and the outcome of our anniversary portraits were magnificently outstanding.   Taking advantage of our friendship with Ray, we asked him if we could employ him to come out to Colorado Springs, Colorado  to take photographs of our family with the unique backdrop of the red rocks.   He agreed, flew out and spent the weekend with us.   There is a favorite spot we shared with him, and he patiently addressed our attire to suit the mood and choose the right time of day to take this once in a lifetime photograph.   I'm not showing off but I wish I could invite everyone in Colorado to view this 40 inch canvas masterpiece we had made.  It's breathtaking!  We want to thank you Ray for the memorable family portrait experience and for completing our home's dcor which hangs above our stair entrance.

I recently had Ray Johnston Designer Photography create my first family portrait and baby album.  The portraits of my baby's first year were assembled in an album that Ray beautifully put together.  My husband and I are so pleased with Ray's talent, creativity, and professionalism.  Ray's comfortable studio made us feel at home.  We couldn't be happier with our baby album (we show EVERYONE!) and our family wall portrait hangs in our home.  We look at our portrait everyday - it brings smiles to our faces.  Thank you Ray!
