From the staff, to the decor, the presentation and of course the food it was a wonderful dinner spot on a Saturday night.

It is a fairly large restaurant, cut up into many sections.  Some provided smaller alcoves that was great from an intimate dinner and larger spots for groups.  The decor was chich, tasteful, colorful without being in your face.  At night there were tea candles lit that provided a chic, romantic escape into another culture.  Although located in a bland shopping mall, it really was a surprised to find such a lovely restaurant inside.

We shared some potato samosa.  Two large pieces were presented in a coffee cup with saucer.  Interesting . . .  it was a bit spicy, the poatoes were sweet and well balanced with a hint of other vegetables.  The outside was flakely, crisp and wasn't overly covered with dough.  The balance was great.

I ordered a lamb curry with 3 types of mushrooms.he had another curry with lamb.  There was a rice to share that was buttery, fresh and though we could have used more, it was a wonderful rice.  The lamb was a bit spicy for me at medium, I'm pretty good with spice but next time I'll get mild.  The lamb was succulent and just pulled apart.  The curry was a great texture, sweet, hot, slighty thick - yum!  The lamb and sauce went great with the mushrooms and was a great dish.  Though the dish was 18 it was well worth it.

This is a really tasty, romantic, chic, date spot.  The staff was great, informative, friendly and nice.  Overall a great restaurant and will make this my local Indian Restaurant.

Really impressed with the place and the staff!!!

Me and my husband got here at 9:30pm and didn't realize that there was only half an hour left before they closed. Nonetheless, the staff was extremely hospitable, the ambiance was beautiful and the food was great too. That particular day we were eating vegetarian food and this is what we ordered:

Samosa
Malai kofta
Dal Fry
Garlic naan & plain naan

Our server very politely informed us that the kitchen will be closing soon but unlike some other restaurants they did not rush us at all. We enjoyed our appetizer and then the mouth watering food followed. After we had taken our time eating...the server even asked if we would like to order dessert! It was already past their closing time and we felt bad for the two staff members who were waiting on us so we decided not to stay any longer. But, can't wait to go back at an earlier time and enjoy some of their non- vegetarian dishes and dessert.

So, next time you are in the mood for good Indian food, warm and welcoming ambiance and excellent service all within a decent price definitely give this place a try!

My husband chose this place for our date night tonight. Immediately upon arrival I was impressed by the ambiance. I was digging the hand painted sanskrit on the walls, the private partitions, lounge music, and low lighting. Very romantic.

For a Sunday night the place was pretty poppin', it was about 70% full. The menu is not very extensive, but there are enough options to suit most fancies. I got chicken tikki kababs and my husband got the lamb curry. My chicken was a little dry so I just kept dipping it in the lamb curry sauce for more flavor. I kind of regret not ordering chicken tikka masala after tasting his dish. The portion sizes are a little on the small size but fulfilling nonetheless. I don't hang out too often in that area and it was a little on the pricey side, but I would definitely go back someday.

Wow, wow, wow! Definitely found one of my new favorite restaurants! From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable. Everyone took great care of us and helped with any questions we had. They came around enough times to make sure we were doing okay but not too much to the point where it goes annoying. Also, our drinks were always filled and that is a big plus for me because I try to drink up as much water as possible!

The food was great amazing too. Perfect amount of spices but nothing was too overwhelming.

Garlic naan - Straight out from the oven, delicious! It had a strong garlic flavor but I was ready for it after reading some yelp reviews so I wasn't too surprised.
Chicken tikka masala - This one was my boyfriend's favorite. It was rich and creamy and so delicious with the rice.
Lamb vindaloo - Lamb has a reputation for possibly being gamey if not prepared right but this was divine! This was my favorite of the night and the sauce that came with it was superb!

The portions were just right for us, actually even on the side of too much because we were really struggling to finish at the end. Because the sauces are so good, you want to finish those too but alas, sometimes you just have to give up and call it a night! This is one of the top spots for fine dine Indian cuisine. Love it and can't wait to try the buffet!

First time i am writing a review on yelp and it has to be bad. The ambiance of the place is great- the food looked good from a distance.. the reviews on yelp looked promising.. so what was the turn down.....

Maybe the reason that we never got to eat the food! We came in on Sunday for the lunch buffet. Staff (and manager) made us wait for 25 mins which is acceptable. But what's not acceptable is that they let other folks who came in after us in.. they got them tables just because they were families of 5 or 6.. And they couldn't find tables for 2 ??

Don't think I am returning here ever after the behavior we saw.. Just not worth it for me..

I decided to try this restaurant based on other reviews here.  OMG!  Great food, great service, beautiful restaurant.  I only have 1 tiny criticism; the served me wine from an already opened bottle (long open by the taste of it).  But, they rectified it immediately and opened the bottle at my table.  They have an impressive wine list.  The dim lighting and candles made for a very romantic dinner.  Other people were compaining about the price/serving ratio.  I thought it was fair for the amount of food we got.

For the starter course we had the somosa and tondoori baked trumpet mushrooms.  Mushrooms blew my mind and the somosa was delicious (enter the grape chutney).  I had the Vegetable Moile.  Very impressive that they use actual curry leaves!  I love that taste.  It was lip licking good.  Another thing I just loved, loved, loved was the grape chutney.  Incredible!  Indians can make the yummiest chutneys out of anything!  There were a lot of vegan options so there are more things I get to go try:)  Will definitely go back and often.

This might be the best Indian restaurant in all of San Jose.  I haven't tried them all, of course, but I'd be hard-pressed to believe that there's another place out there that can top Rangoli's food.

The soups are simply *amazing,* though they had a little kick that caught me off guard at first.  Don't get me wrong - spiciness doesn't bother me, but I don't believe I've ever experienced it in a soup before!  The chicken tikka masala is perhaps the best I've ever tasted.  The chicken was fall-apart-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was fuhgetaboutit D-E-LISH.  I could eat that CTM 7 days a week and still go back for 2nds.  The Aloo Gobhi was good, though not able to compete with the CTM in a side-by-side taste test.  For dessert, the Gulab Jamun will simply make your head explode.  Yes, it's that good.  It's almost too good...

My only gripe was that our table was a tad close to our neighbors.  If we could hear their conversation so easily, I couldn't help but feel like they could hear ours.  That made me want to talk really softly and in vague terms so as not to disclose too many personal details of our life.  Service was appropriately timed - not fast, but not sluggish either.  I don't like to be rushed through a meal by a pushy server, and that certainly didn't happen here.

I can't wait to go back to Rangoli!

Sunday night. 6PM. Hot date...  with grandma!

Nice ambiance. Quick service. Good food. (...and good company!)

Chai tea. Yum.

Garlic Naan ($3): hot! straight out of the oven, soft, sprinkled with lots o' garlic and chopped cilantro.  Recommended!

Chicken Tikka Masala (marinated chicken in tomato sauce, fenugreek and cashew paste) ($13): DELICIOUS!!! Chicken is super, super tender. Sauce is creamy and FULL of flavor.  I cleaned the sauce off my plate... HIGHLY recommended.

Aloo Gobhi (pan-steamed cauliflower and potato sabji) ($11): Came just how it sounds. Cauliflower could have been steamed longer as it was a bit crunchy still, and I didn't care too much for that.  My grandma loved this dish though!  Also, the waiter had recommended this dish amongst the other vegetarian dishes.

Oh, and plate of white rice comes complimentary with your meal.

Though we were stuffed already, we agreed that dessert would be a great idea, and ordered the creme brulee sampler (mango, chocolate and espresso, $7).  It was the perfect size, we both had a few spoonsful and were quite satisfied...  Total check came out to be about $44.  Not too bad!  I would definitely recommend this restaurant!  Wonderful atmosphere, service and food!  Woooo AND I have leftovers to look forward to tomorrow, haha.  :)

Came here for Sunday brunch. The food was very good but the selection, in my opinion, was not up to par.

I have to admit that the restaurant was very clean, the service was impeccable and the food was very tasty. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon but for some reason the food itself was a little sparse.

For instance, the lamb curry was delicious! The lamb was so tender and the curry itself was very flavorful. I went back for seconds and all the lamb was gone... Just the curry sitting alone. For the rest of my time at the restaurant, they never replaced the lamb curry. (-1 star)

There was about 6 different meat dishes/curries to try, vegetarian rice, steamed rice, a "dessert" bar and a large skillet type pan that was had overcooked dried out chicken and veggies on top.

Honestly, I was very impressed with the taste of the food here but for the same price I'd rather go to Bombay Buffet in Sunnyvale. They have a wider selection and they constantly bring out hot, fresh food...

4 1/2 for the Sunday Brunch!!! Very clean Indian restaurant is what caught my eye when we first stepped into the restaurant. We were seated and offered a complimentary glass of apple cider or champagne. I have to say the flavors of the curry here are delicious! Probably one of the best I've had so far. I can't say that I'm an expert with Indian food because me and my gf have recently been interested in trying it. But so far, this probably has to be the best in my opinion. I got the spiciness and the full flavors from the curries. I also have to mention the lamb was so tender, unlike some Indian restaurants you get a dry piece of meat. My only complaint is the naan they were serving was a bit doughy.
I have to give this place a thumbs up, the drive is well worth it for me.

Wow! I had heard great things about the restaurant but it surpassed my expectations. The saag paneer was made with FRESH baby spinach - you can tell by its bright green color and fresh taste. The chicken tikka masala was great, I could taste the tomatoes. The lamb madras was high in flavor, without being too salty.

The service last Saturday evening was top notch - like a Michelin-starred restaurant. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive - they seem to have some restaurant service training. The manager was especially accommodating and he even called me in advance of arriving to let me know they were going to prepare a dessert for my friend, whose birthday we were celebrating.

We really enjoyed our dining experience and I cannot wait to go again soon. We will definitely be going back soon, and also every time my friend comes back into town!

Very Delicious but also very expensive!

The quality of food was one of the best I have ever had but overall I wouldn't come back because it is way too expensive, unless money is no object.

To summarize one of the best for food quality but the worst for price.  There are better deals around for Indian restaurants.  The main dishes are $13 and I'm sorry but Indian food is pretty inexpensive.

You can get a discount if you go to http://restaurant.com and get a discounted gift certificate.  That's how I found out about them.

Yep, definitely the best Indian food I've had...  well, anywhere. I've sampled a number of the Indian food joints in the South Bay, but Rangoli is just a cut above. Of course, the price is also a cut above, but worth the expense. Since hearing about this place, my wife and I have been twice: once for dinner, and once for the buffet. Both are scrumptious.

The buffet is extensive, and I understand that they offer different dishes each day. They also offer a range of choices for different diets, separating the buffet into vegetarian and meat choices. The desserts are wonderful, and the warm gulab jamun that I had at dinner was the best I've ever tasted.

Although some people have complained about the service, I found the waiters to be extremely attentive and polite. Of course, we went to Rangoli during off-peak hours, so that might explain the discrepancy.

Anyway, I've found my new Indian food go-to joint.

In my search, this is the BEST Indian restaurant in the South Bay.  What a great dining experience.

Located in a strip mall, with basic outer looks, when you walk in the interior is decorated very nicely and has a nice separation of areas/tables for dining.

Was greeted and seated immediately.  Have to say the service was outstanding.  Very courteous server and others who delivered the food were polite and pleasant to talk to.

Table had white tablecloth (dinner), a nice lit candle, and modern wine and water glasses.

The menu is extensive and has a variety of chicken and lamb dishes.

We decided on chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, biryani and naan.  The dishes all arrived at the same time.  Each one was served hot.  The aroma from the spices was very pleasant.

The chicken tikka masala was the best ever I have eaten.  So tasty.  Sauce just out of this world to the palate. Chicken tandoori was tender and very juicy instead of other places where it is very dry.  Naan was just heavenly to the taste.

Large wine selection available with some very nice brands on the extensive list.

What more can I say.  This experience was just the best I have had at an Indian restaurant.  I will be going back often to try their other dishes.

They have a lunch buffett during the weekdays.

Highly recommended.

I went here on a Sunday. Lunch buffet ($14.99) and 1 glass of champagne is included if your legal. They check i.d.!

Service was very good. the waiters refilled our water many times and refilled our naan.

Basically high class Indian food. The place has a nice ambience and looks somewhat classy. It is a bit expensive, but has a lot more variety to choose from.

Eggplant curry is too salty and bean curry was alright. Chicken tikka masala's creamy sauce was good, but the chicken was a bit on the dry side. Same problem with the chicken curry: good sauce, but chicken was dry. The lamb curry was pretty good! There was also a vegetable dish that i didn't try. The tandoori chicken wasn't anything special. I haven't ate any good tandoori chicken yet. The vegetable pakora was alright. There is also 2 kinds of rice you can choose from. And several dipping sauces. The free naan with the buffet was very fresh, soft, and chewy. There was also salsa, sweet spinach salad, raita, and this tomato and cucumber cold dish. I'm not a big fan of raita even though i've tried many. The salsa was good, but needed some chips. The tomato and cucumber dish was normal, nothing special.

Definitely more desserts than other place I've been to. The rice pudding wasn't too sweet, but the rice was a bit softer than what I had at other places. The fruit caramel cake thing was not too sweet either and was good. The mango pudding with honeydew pieces was okay. The tiramisu was the bomb! it was cold in the middle and was creamy! It is a must try!

I would come back, but its also sorta far and expensive. For those of you who are in that area or want to drive here or don't care spending more $, I would definitely recommend this place.

I thought the food was excellent.  Presentation and atmosphere wonderful.

Negatives:  Staff!  They were not warm and inviting and because we came in an hour before lunch service ended, therefore;  they were hovering to have us leave.  We did not stay past the buffet lunch time.   Also, they did not replenish items for us such as salad and other items.  The buffet should be stocked for the hours it is available.

The buffet price is reasonable, however; the dinner menu is a bit on the pricey side.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, and last Thurs. my friend and I finally did.

I made a reservation on opentable,( although it wasn't needed, I'm all about racking up the points.)

We were seated immediately, and after looking over the menu we were ready to order.

I had the chicken tikka masala, and it was probably the best I've ever had. The flavors were amazing,I REALLY enjoyed it.

They had a good wine selection, and quite a few reasonably priced by-the-glass options.

Service was very attentive, waters were kept refilled, and waiters checked in on us a few times. They even gave us a free dessert, and gave both of us a whole container of rice to take home with our leftovers.

I'm totally enamored with place, and can't wait to go back!!!!

Tried this place for dinner through a recommendation who's Indian.  I always check out Yelp before going to any restarant even if it's been a recommendation so I know what dishes people liked and disliked.  When I got there around 7pm the place wasn't that busy, although I couldn't really tell as this is a large restaurant and you can't see the whole place from the front.  We got seated pretty promtly and I recall service being very good through out our dinner.  I must agree with the one reviewer that they do fill your water glass a little too much even after only taking a couple of sips.
I thought the food was of excellent quality and I've been to many Indian restaurants before.  The prices were very high which is why I give this place only 4 stars.  I would definitely recommend this place to other people but it probably won't be a place I dine at regulary as it's too expensive.  Between my friend and I the bill came to just over $34 per person including tax and tip.  We ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees to share, garlic naan, and a drink each.
Next time I'll save room for dessert as I read from the reviews that it's good here and I'll also try their buffet lunch one day if I get time and am around that area.

Good service, delicious food. Only indian restaurant whose food tastes like good indian restaurant (in India).

This is the first thought came to my head when I went there first time. The moment I took first bite, the food tasted so familiar and different from other restaurants in bay area. I just love this place. This restaurant tops the my 3 local, favorite  indian restaurants list. I have been to lunch buffet as well as dinner many times here now.

This place rocks! It has the best Indian food I have tasted in years! I always get take-out and I am alway impressed how much care they pack everything.  I always get the same thing; onion bahjis, veggie somosa, chicken tikka masala, rice, naan and a mango lassi.

The chicken tikka masala is down right scump!! These guys actually use real chicken breast, very good.  The best part is that this stuff re-heats very well and almost as enjoyable as having it the first night!

So I came back here to try the buffet, so this review is solely for that experience. Unfortunately, this time the foods was VERY  sweet (both the chicken tikka masala and the chicken korma) and the lamb vindaloo was just flavorless....I'm not sure if they make it this way to cater to American tastes, but it wasn't to my liking. Indian food should be MUCH spicier than this. Maybe they are more likely to play it safe and make the food mild and sweet when trying to please everyone in a buffet?

On the positive side, you get free champagne with the brunch on sundays, and it's still a nice (even romantic) place.  They also use good quality meat.

I thought I'd found a reliable Indian restaurant near my neighborhood, but this didn't really do it for me. I wanna say 2.5 stars, but I'll round up to 3 stars because i still enjoy sitting here.

I think Rangoli is my favorite Indian place that I have been to.
My friend and I used to get take out almost every week. I usually get the paneer saag walla while he gets the chiken tikka masla or lamb madras. I haven't tried the chicken or lamb because I'm a vegetarian but he and his dad both love them. Plus the lunch buffet is bomb :)
I also really love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor is a little bit modern and a little bit traditional and the service is always excelent.

4.5-Once service is perfect, they will get 5 from me.

In combination with http://restaurant.com, I bring you my favorite Indian restaurant, RANGOLI.

Seriously people, you buy a $10 dollar coupon for a $25 meal. SCORE! http://Restaurant.com hooks it up...how could you possibly fail at this one?   Sometimes you can even get the $25 coupon for 80% off. Amazing.

Odd strip mall location across from the Cambrian plaza makes for convenient parking. The Interior has been decorated beautifully, and you forget you are in San Jose.  Food is spectacular. I held one of my UYE's here (http://www.yelp.com/bi...)  and have come back a couple of times since. I typically order the following:
Chicken Tikka Masala -creamy and sooooo fatty-perfect!
Aloo Gobhi-spicy and my order for veggies
Tandoori Chicken-small servings-get 2 Tikka Masala's or Kabab
Garlic Naan-like pizza.
Paneer Saag-so cheesy

I can't complain. The food is as close to perfect as I would expect, especially at those discounted prices.

Service can be spotty, and it's almost like you need to carry a flag to get the waiters to pay attention.  If you are a regular, like a certain pal, then no issues.  Tragically, my waistline doesn't allow me to keep coming back. If I could, I would. Seriously. I love this place!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! I will be sad when I move in a couple of weeks. :-(

I go to Rangoli every other week for the most part. Either for the lunch buffet or for dinner. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is soooo yummy! It's the only Indian place I like to go now. The ambiance is always comfortable, never to warm or chilly, and even though it gets crowded at lunch time their lunch buffet is ALWAYS plentiful!

I have brought a few people with me that had never had this kind of food and even though they said they didn't like Indian food they end up LOVING it at Rangoli!

The thing that I love the most is the consistency of the quality of their food. I have had good and bad experiences at other Indian food eateries, but Rangoli has always been on par and on top of their game!

Take out can take a few minutes if you don't call ahead, however it is always very well packaged to eliminate the possibilities of spills.

I've not had everything on the menu but if you like lamb I highly reccomend the Lamb Vindaloo!  The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Aloo Ghobi are both EXCELLENT!  The samosas are quite tasty as well!  You can always ask for the spice to be mild.  I am a whimp when it comes to super spicy things but the medium spicyness at Rangoi is perfect and not overpowering at all!

You won't regret trying this place!

So-I give this place three stars for the decor and cleanliness. We came in for  a real sit down lunch but was surprised to know that they have a buffet going on! We thought hey cool-buffet-we're up for it after a short hike.
Food review: Dishes were weak and I've had better tasting indian food. The Lamb Vindaloo was a little too sour for me. They also have the Cheese dish and it was too sweet for me.  I need spicier indian dish. So this is not the restaurant for me. i will continue my search for a 4ever indian restaurant.
P.S. I asked the waiter what Rangoli means and he said he does not know. I think you should know the name of the place you are working for. Because inquiring minds like yours truly would like to know.
But here's the meaning according to Google:The term rangoli is derived from words rang (colour) and aavalli ('coloured creepers' or 'row of colours').

Armed with the http://restaurant.com coupon code, the honey and I went off to eat some yummy Indian food at Rangoli.

We hardly go to eat at "romantic" places and this night, Rangoli stood for romance. Candlelight dinner, attentive service, soft, swanky music and not many people in the restaurant made for a nice dinner out.

Not to mention we both were in food heaven eating the tasty chicken tikka masala, aloo gobhi and garlic naan. What was even better was the lamb korma. This was the best dish! Mind you it's kinda pricey at $18 with about 10 pieces or so of lamb but OMG it's good! We scooped up every bit of this dish including the sauce. It was that good. They gave us a refill on the rice too. Score!

The food is a little more expensive than most Indian places and the portions are a little smaller but what they lack in that they make up for in taste, presentation, service and atmosphere.

We will be back! Probably with another coupon too.

It's become a tradition of mine, to eat Indian food, when I come home from Midwest business trips. As soon as I land in SF, I speed to Rotee on Haight. Fortunately, I had plans and arrived with enough time to run errands and meet my DIVA-licious buddy for dinner in San Jose.

I was going to award 4 stars for one reason. I am a stickler for appropriate wine serving. We ordered wine and didn't see it poured from the bottle. The server just brought us the pre-poured glasses. STOP. Wait a minute. Get me a manager!

If I could relay one message to the owner, stop this ASAP. Bring the bottle out and show the customer what they are drinking. For all I know, they could have poured 2 buck chuck!!

On to the food.

Chicken tikka Masala -A++
Aloo Gobi - A++
Tandoori Chicken - A (what tiny pieces of meat! could have been quail!)
Naan- A++

I am sold. This is the best Indian restaurant in the bay area, hands down. This is why they get 5 stars from me. I've been to India, and I think its equally good. How's that for a recommendation!?

I'm lucky to work at a place that offers indian food regularly from Turmeric, so truthfully, I've become a little burnt out. When it comes time to pick a restaurant for dinner indian hasn't been a common cuisine for at least six months.

That being said, boyfriend's dad chose this place due to proximity to his house and I am so glad he did.

When you walk in you realize that, Rangoli, nestled in a strip mall, is expansive and nice. Samosas were overfried and under filled but still spicy and good. Garlic naan, raita, chicken korma, paneer and vindaloo all very good, amazing, perfect.

Server was awesome and we had enough left over for dinner the next night, Rangoli is definitely up there with Passage to India.  Now I need to go back and experience the buffet.

It's 8:08am on a Saturday and I'm seriously thinking about indian for breakfast, too bad they don't open until 5.

Heard a few things about this place so I thought, "What the hell" and headed down on a weeknight.  Around 7pm, no one there but one other party so I wasn't very enthused about my meal.  The menu was simplified and unlike uber long 4 page menus like Amber India.  We got the C'utlet and the Lamb Madras and the Abu Ghoobi and requested each to be spiced medium.  When the food came, it was potent and spicy...no blandess there!  They even threw in rice for free!  We also ordered a garlic naan and when it got to the table, whoa...., the garlic smell literally grabbed your noses.  After eating it, the garlic literally coalesced in the back of my throat refusing to be washed down.  If you're coming here for a date, DO NOT order the garlic naan or else the date will go nowhere.

The prices were reasonable, between $13-$18 per entree, and the waiters checked on our table often.  Whether this place trumps Amber India...well, that's up to you.  This place is a nice low-key alternative for authentic Indian cuisine.

Wow! I was impressed! I had been wanting to try this place forever since my friend Flor D. loves it and she is a Yelper that has excellent taste....so off we went to try Rangoli.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you walk in, it's very serene and romantic. It's dimly lit with beautiful decor. It looks like a very fancy restaurant but without the fancy price tag. We were promptly seated by a pleasant waiter. I noticed they had a staff full of men dressed in nice shirts and ties working in the restaurant.

We ordered Samosas for our appetizer and my husband had to have the mango lassi. The lassi was $4 and not worth it. We've had better lassi for half that price. Besides its a pretty small glass. The samosas were excellent though. They were big and stuffed full and included 3 dipping sauces that were super flavorful and delicious. We really enjoyed the Samosas and for $5 for two, I thought it was worth it.

For dinner I ordered the chicken tikka masala. It was a bit too sweet for me but was good. I wasn't able to finish it all because of the sweetness. My husband had asked if they could make the lamb vindaloo with chicken and they were able to. My husband asked for that but he received chicken tandoori instead? When it arrived we were a bit confused because he swears he ordered the vindaloo but he quite possibly could have ordered the tandoori LOL! We couldn't remember and didn't tell the waiter because the tandoori looked SOOO good! And it tasted good so we didn't send it back and enjoyed it anyways. I was highly impressed on how great the tandoori was and I would definitely order it again.

Both of our entrees were $13 each.

I also ordered the garlic naan for $3 which I probably will not order again. It really overpowered my masala and tasted more like pizza then anything. Next time I will order the plain naan for my meal so I can really taste the true flavors of the food. I don't recommend the garlic naan if you are coming here for a first date ;)

They also serve white rice with your meal at no charge which is nice. Many places we have been to before charges extra for rice.

Overall a wonderful place perfect for dates. The music they play is very soothing and the candlelight at the table and dim lights makes this place feel fancier then it really is. We purchased coupons on http://Restaurant.com but they are only accepted Sunday through Thursday. We will be back for sure during the week to use our coupons!

Short and sweet.

- Prices: Better than average for comparable restaurants.
- Service: Excellent. Everything just as ordered. Desert comped.
- Ambiance: Very clean, attractive, not cramped. Will impress.
= Food: FANTASTIC. My wife and I cannot think of anywhere we have had better Indian food. Spices were just right, meat tender, veges crisp and fresh.

Potli Samosa
Spinach mango salad
Garlic Naan
Chicken ka Korma
Lamb Madras

Everything was perfect. I am not a big fan of lamb, but I could eat that lamb madras for days. Matter of fact, I'm gonna have some more right now!

Been Yelped again!
