I love this place!
I went to school across the field from it, we did a number of academic assignments with the adobe, and all kinds of community service projects here. Heck, we even held our graduation ceremony here.
The building itself is nicely maintained. Unfortunately, the innards are slowly being reinserted and its' overall character as a museum is lacking. BUT! The historical agency and potential this place holds is amazing. A number of locals and historians can talk for hours on the cultural and historical significance of this local attraction!
Often used for private events, this place can also be turned into quite the venue. I only wish it had the attention and regular manicure it deserves.
Take an afternoon tour! It's well worth it!

I've been to two weddings and a graduation here. I LOVED it for both events. The first wedding and the graduation were held in the back patio area, there wasn't anyting too exciting about them. The second wedding was held in the chapel. Its very small, only holds 65, but for a smaller wedding it was perfect! I love the rustic feel of the place, and there is plenty of room for a great reception. The fee to rent it is relatively low, something like $400 to $600 for the day!! Definitely where I would like to have my wedding some day!
