It's far below average for mexican restaurants.  In a pinch, it is not horrible.  Everything there just seems low quality.

If you don't have a choice, it will due, but it's just not that good.

This place was filled to the brim with white people. I didn't see one Mexican person in there other than the wait staff, which is always bad news. One may say that this is Sammamish and there aren't any good Mexican restaurants around, but au contraire. Drive about ten minutes further to Taqueria El Gallo, and you'll get authentic, delicious, reasonably priced and portioned food with an actual spicy salsa bar and also a TV blasting the Spanish channel.

The crowd was just awful at this place. I heard one woman say "AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE SOUR CREAM ANYWHERE ON MY PLATE!!!" while ordering her dinner and our entire booth was shaking thanks to the obnoxious kids behind us. I also thought the outdoor seating was funny, because you're basically just stewing in the parking lot of a strip mall. How is that fun?

The only good part of the night were the hot chips we got when we sat down. The salsa wasn't a winner though. Mild, ketchupy and garlicy - no thanks. I ordered the Tres Enchilada platter for $12.45, and boy that was a mistake. The portions were giant but after one bite, I didn't want to eat anymore. The inside of my enchiladas were cold, and the cheese wasn't melted. Also, why was there cole slaw on my plate? When we finished our meal, we received some chips with chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top. What?

For anyone who thinks this is authentic, I am truly sorry. Rancho Grande is simply a restaurant catered to white suburbia who likes their food bland, fatty, and mild. Next time I get a craving for actual Mexican food, I will be driving the extra ten minutes to Taqueria El Gallo.

Average gringo mexican food. Better value for lunch than dinner. Greasy chips and food in general. The fajitas are ok but if you get a take out asked them to separate the meat from the rest of the food. They put everything in the same container and all the food gets a greasy. The service is ok but they have mixed up my take out several times and I had to go back to get the rest of my food.
If you want great authentic mexican food go to Taqueria venadita in Issaquah.

My wife likes this place better than I do, but it's really not bad for generic Mexican food... besides it's not like you have a lot of choices in Sammamish.

I really like the Chile Verde option that's available for any enchilada filling. This time I got a 3 enchilada sampler that was really nice. I like the variety. Also, they have my favorite Mexican cerveza, Pacifico, so that makes me happy. The service is always friendly and quick too.

They put us in the back room with all the kids, which was awesome b/c then we didn't have to feel guilty about Noah and his friend being amazingly noisy. Who know such little bodies could make so much noise? :-)

aside from chipotle, taco bell, and taco time. this place has got it down for authentic mexican food. i mean come on.. complimentary salsa and corn tortilla chips.

the menu was pretty diverse in offering so many different entrees with such a small cuisine to work with. i mean come on now, mexican food isnt quite asian-nesian fusion. the tortilla soup wasnt bad, neither was anything else. just like they make it in san diego i suppose..

best mexican food i ever had wouldnt pass a food inspection here in the states soo.... whatevvs.. imma give it to em just cause theyre holding it down for their counterparts all over the US bringing a little flavor from across the border. ill definitely be back cause i got one of those coupon books- one entree get another free.. gotta love them fundraising munchkins.

So my girlfriend introduced me to the bustling communtiy of Sammamish and decided to bring me to her favorite mexican place (probably because it's the only one in the town).  Bland menu and the margaritas didn't help... I've had much better.  And aside from their patio, a.k.a. the front sidewalk in front of strip-mall turned restaurant, I hope I don't come back too soon.
