Chose this place based on the central location it is in. It is in Rutherford and anyone doing their research knows this is past Yountville and right before St. Helena. There is nothing much in Rutherford besides lots of vineyards, Auberge Du Soleil, and Rutherford Grill right next door.
We stayed here for one night and stayed in a king room with elevated bedroom and fireplace. There was lots of fire wood available and all the furnishings were accommodating.
Upon driving to Auberge, we had actually passed our hotel without even knowing it. It is not well marked and unless you know you're going there, you will not see it. It has the Luna Market right across the street which is convenient if you want some drinks or snacks.
The only thing this place does not have is a pool or jacuzzi, but you save on that in terms of mula. I would come back again if in the area. The reception was light hearted about us extending our checkout time.
I got a gift card for one free night at the Rancho Caymus Inn and it was amazing! We stayed in the King Suite and it was the most beautiful and relaxing room ever. It's the perfect spot to stay if you are wine tasting in Rutherford and the Rutherford Grill is right up the block. I would recommend this place to everyone, it's the perfect place for a wine county getaway!
Great place, we had Room 210. Definitely go for the second floor. The center patio was very nice and the free tasting on Friday night was fun. Our room had a balcony, jacuzzi tub, small fridge and king-sized bed. Ask for Matt, he was very helpful.
I love this place. Not far away from SF in the heart of Napa Valley, with beautiful stylish garden patio, wonderful fireplace and friendly front desk agents. It is losing one star because they let children scream and run around at 8 in the morning. It is not the hotel's fault, but they can politely tell the family to shut them up:) Hello! After a day and a night tasting who doesn't want to sleep in, but with kids kicking your door and chasing each other it's just impossible. Who brings children to Napa anyway!!!
