Rancho California-Scga Members Club
1 review for Rancho California-Scga Members Club
The SCGA Members happens to be miles away east of the 15 freeway in Murrieta. Very close to the wineries and near Pechanga. A great looking golf course that winds through the hills and through the pretty houses in the area. From the first hole, a downhill par 5, dogleg right to well guarded green, you will find out that this course has a lot of zig zags, downhills, uphills and of course huge greens to test your long putting.
First green fees here are quite reasonable for non SCGa members. From $85 to $55 or a round sounds nice for this Robert Trent Jones designed golf course.
There are 4 par 5's...so you're chance of making birdies should be good. But with that said there are plenty of par 3's. There are two par 5 in the first 4 holes, so you must start well. But this course has a great mix of long and short par 4's.
It's a nice course, it's not as beautiful as Cross Creek, not as difficult as Redhawk, but there are a lot of nice holes and views at this course. What holds against it is its distance from Temecula and that its difficult to find. But a fun course with a great design by one of the master of golf course architecture.
