I stayed at this hotel thanks to the randomness that is reserving something on Hotwire.
Some friends and I were taking a 1.5 day mini vacation to Great America and needed something cheap and convenient.
We got a great rate of $50 for a Tuesday night stay and the hotel was about 5mins away from GA. Loving it!
Service was great. Friendly staff for sure!
NOT so loving the room....eh....It was clean and well kept but the bathroom smelled like a wet towel had been left out too long. By the time we realized it we had already settled in so we decided to just deal with it for the night. Our friend's room who were staying across the hall had a nice clean smelling room so I think our luck was just crappy.
Another thing, the walls are seriously paper thin. We could hear the TV AND muffled conversation of the people in the room next to us. Thank GOODNESS they weren't on their honeymoon. Ugh.
Overall though we had a pleasant and short stay and for the price and location I would definitely stay there again!
If you are up in this area, this is one of the nicest hotels. They have great suites and hotel rooms. The conference area needs a little work, but it is a good space and can be used for meetings or special events.
