Stayed here this past weekend and it served its purpose. Microwaves,  fridges, and hair dryers in all rooms plus the usual coffee, shampoo, soap, lotion etc that no one usually uses anyway.

Continental breakfast is also offered in the mornings from 7:00-9:00 am. Waffle (not waffleS cause you'll only get 1), cereal, muffins, fruit, juice and coffee is served.

If you have some time to spare you'll find a quiet little naughty adult store down the block. Where else will you find those penis shaped ice-cube trays you've been looking for?

My friends and I stayed here when the American Le Mans Series was in town @ Laguna Seca. We booked the room through http://priceline.com and in the end we ended up paying about 100 per person, total was about 375 for 3 nights.

The room was nothing special, we basically just needed a place to sleep since we were going to spend most of our time at the track. There was a refridgerator and a microwave which made things a little convenient for us, but like I said, the room was nothing special.

They offer breakfast there, free coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, and even waffles. Woo. I didn't have any of it. :)

You're only allowed 1 car per room so expect to park on the street if you bring friends along.

If you are there was a group of friends and spending time out and abound during the evening, then you are ok. Just keep in mind that it is right behind the Fairgrounds and they do have concerts there that will keep you up if you sleep early.

It was not a good place if you are a light sleeper.

My woman and I went to Monterey for part of the Labor Day weekend.  It was short notice so I'm actually surprised we got something relatively cheap (for Monterey).  The bad thing was, we got the room closest to the busy street.  Even better, apparently the Reggae Festival of Monterey was going on not 500 feet away the entire weekend, so although at some point I would have liked it, the distinct smell of herb wafted into our room throughout the night.

Nevertheless I don't blame the hotel for this.  But at least that smell covered up the intense antiseptic aroma when we first came in.  The place is large enough but the lighting is random and poor.  The bathroom is ok.

We had the breakfast and it was decent, although it was crowded.  I'd stay there again, knowing that it's just a room to sleep in and you'll be spending 95% of your waking time outside of the room.

Got it on Priceline for $65-70, is it only a 2.5 star motel to me but this town is expensive when it comes to rooms.  I did get free wireless and it comes with a free breakfast (I don't get up early enough to try, but my friends said it was ample).  The rooms in hotels at this level seem to smell musty/antiseptic, so I bring my own room freshener with me.  There is a fridge.  The room is good size but beds felt worn and the place in general felt worn.  The breakfast room seemed updated, 1980's feel.   Front desk is nice.

We had an awful stay at this hotel.  I do not recommend it.  The bathroom smelled strongly of urine even with the window open.  The comforter was thin and scratchy.  We bought our room using http://priceline.com.  When we checked out the manager said "ok, you're all set."  I asked for a receipt or confirmation and he said, "If I gave you a receipt,  I'd have to charge you again.  Call Priceline for your receipt."  Overall, bad room and bad service.

We booked the Ramada Limited for 50 bucks a night through http://priceline.com which included the weekend which I thought was good considering nothings cheap in Monterey.  The room was clean, had everything we needed considering we weren't in there very much except to sleep.  Had fridge, TV, WiFi.  The room was larger than expected so that was nice too.  The front desk guy was efficient.  He checked us in in about 2 minutes and was nice.  The guy that checked us out wasn' t quite as friendly.  The continental breakfast was good, but not quite enough room for everyone.  All in all it was a good experience.
