6 reviews for Ramada Inn Pasadena
stayed here this week while i took the CA Bar Exam over at the convention center. great service. free wi-fi in the rooms. has a pool/jacuzzi but honestly, who uses the pool at a 3 star hotel. and it has a fitness center.
what i REALLY loved was their free wi-fi and ample free parking. totally worth the $69/night. moree than worth it. and their breakfast is pretty decent - waffles, lots of cereals, deliciously soft bagels with fresh creamcheese, donuts, muffins, etc. their coffee is a bit weak but i mean, it's a hotel continental, what can you really expect.
only big con - the shower curtain had black spots on it. i had to literally force myself to step into that shower :( sigh. thus, four stars instead of an easy five. if you ever need a cheapo place to stay in pasadena, i would recommend the ramada. fairly clean, large room, efficient service and lots of amenities.

Disclaimer: I haven't actually stayed at the Pasadena Ramada. HOWEVER, I did reserve a small block of rooms here, for my wedding. The hotel looks clean and well taken care of, and on other review sites, it has mostly gotten good reviews.
My qualm is that I asked for an extension of my hotel block for 10 additional days, to which the employee I was talking to said fine with. However, when I called the next day, I learned that it wasn't extended. So, I again asked for an extension, and again was told that I could get it. Lo and behold, when I made a reservation for a few family members a few days later, I was told that there was no extension and that the deadline had passed, and that I'd have to pay the regular price. After talking to them for a little while, they dropped the price by $10, which I guess is okay, but not as good as the wedding block rate...
So yeah, that's really annoying. I wish they would be more organized and write these things down, or just be honest with me. It's caused a lot of stress, thinking you got something done but in reality, nothing changed. Also, when I talk to them on the phone, it takes like FOREVER.
Hopefully my wedding guests will enjoy their stay there though, and hopefully they didn't have to go through too much stress to reserve their rooms. aghh
Ok this is not the Ritz, but it a good deal and close to everything on the main street of Pasadena. I went down town and to the Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Gardens.. it was wonder and like a mile from this MOTEL..2 bed and a very hot tub and small pool was great for the price or 84 dollars. In the morning they have a free breakfast and its wonderful with lots of choices of food for kids, adults and very clean room. I did not sleep too well but i hardly do unless I'm in my own bed. The room had a refrig, tv, coffee maker and tee for free... Parking was easy and getting around was good. You can make your own waffles for breakfast its too cool. Wow want to look for a place to eat first thing in the morning. Some guest took there food to there rooms. The pool is very small but better then nothing.
Place is well lit and clean and the people are nice that manage the place. I would stay here again if i was in the area .......Elvin
My bro and his family stayed here in April after they became Ramada.
They were quite happy with their stay.

Ah, the life of a business traveling Yelper. One perk, is that I have a great excuse to try new places - 'cause I'm gone Yelp the hell out a'cha!
I thought that the Kingston was just fine. They gave me a king bed in a huge room. Here's the thing: ask for the room above across from the office, and up the stairs. It's a stand alone unit, and ridiculously big for a hotel room. Not fancy mind you, just big.
Also big was the huge spider in trapped in the bathtub. Poor little guy was too scary looking to capture and relocate. I hope he survived the trip to the sewer...
The breakfast was crowded, but very tasty. Who ever the sales guy is that sells those flippy waffle iron thingies is doing a bang up job. There popping up everywhere...
Word of advise: If you're like me, and enjoy a beer in the evening, turn RIGHT when you walk out of the place. A left will take you on a very fruitless and futile walk, though I burned a bunch of calories in the process. To the right is a bar about a half mile down.

They moved me when my non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. Into another room that smelled of cigarettes...but lesser so.
They ran out of towels but that was probably because 10 of my family members used extras at the pool.
Their continental breakfast was dope though....a definite extra star.
This place wasn't bad...the people were nice. They didn't bitch or interfere with the business of having a big family at their hotel. It was totally decent.
