Oh where to begin....They called us several times to confirm our arrival flight time so one would assume they might actually be there, but no it took them another 25 to get there.  We were standing exactly where they told us to, yet the driver breezes past us as we're waiving our hands in the air.  Then he never came back so we ended up taking a cab.  The hotel felt so bad they comped our return shuttle plus upgraded us to a suite and a few free breakfasts.  What I don't understand is the website says the shuttle is complimentary yet they were trying to charge us $9.00 per person.

Then we get in our room and two days later there's a major gas leak!  The maintenance man came and turned it off and we left the AC on and opened the windows.  Three hours later we come back to find that someone had closed the windows and turned the AC off so the gas that had leaked just stayed in our room.  Later that night we came back and had to actually change rooms because the leak was so bad.

They moved us to a room right next door and began tearing apart the gas filled room bright and early the next morning.  Hammers tearing down walls at 8 AM isn't my idea of a good morning wake up call!

The rooms were vintage, a bit on the dirty side.  On the 6th floor the rooms are all timeshares so they only get cleaned on Wednesdays.  WTF?!?!  To make matters worse our door wouldn't close unless you had a running start and body slammed the door shut.

Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this hotel!

I did not seem to have the same customer service problems as the other reviewers. The staff was very nice to me. If you stay here make sure you get one of the rooms that is renovated. It is probably cheaper than any other hotel on the beach where you can have an ocean view from your room. It is very convenient for the beach and O'Malley's beach bar is there as well. My room had a full size refrigerator, a stove and microwave. There is also a nice little store in the lobby to buy drinks, snacks, beer, etc along with several cheesy t-shirt stores.  This hotel is by no means luxury, but if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay on the beach and want to spend more time on the beach than in your room this is not a bad place and it is less than half of the price of the Marriott down the street, which is much nicer but you will pay the price.

It gets two stars because its by the beach, otherwise, a terrible hotel. Worst customer service, people at the front desk are rude and they dont know what they are doing, they wasted 2 hours of our time between registration and checking out, it seems that our prepaid room didnt show as prepaid in their system.
