3 reviews for Ramada Inn
Just stayed here over the wknd for a church retreat. The rooms are decent, for a Ramada at $70/room. You can totally tell that they were renovated cuz they still saved some of the old wallpaper in the bathrooms, probably too cheap to re-do the entire bathroom. The AC unit was probably still the original one but I didn't care cuz at least it still worked in 105 degree weather. The 'continental' breakfast was almost non-existent. I don't know if a couple of bananas & apples, OJ, coffee and pastries count?! I mean, at least throw in some cereal?! Or a donut even?! But thank goodness, the McDonald's & Starbucks is right outside the hotel. It was definitely a convenient location, right off the freeway too.
Not sure if it was because I was super tired but I loved this hotel. My gf and I went on a road trip and for the same price we got at some questionable hotels, we got to stay at a good hotel. The bed is super comfertable, room really clean, nice dark curtins to keep the sunlight out in the am. Pool is nice as well. A room like this anywhere else would have been a lot more but I guess in Fresno they have to charge less. If you wake up in time they even have a free continental breakfast. Price was only like $79.
It was fine, for a Ramada. It was late and we needed to get off the freeway for some much-needed car repairs done before continuing the famous ill-fated National Parks Road Trip. Fresno, while not a planned stop on our tour, was good for this. Conveniently there was a mechanic and tire shop just around the block. The room was spacious, with a high-powered shower. Frumpily appointed in typical motel style. Not much to really say here except that it somewhat exceeded my expectations for a Ramada, especially the larger-than-life entryway and foyer. The best thing about it was the Subway Sandwiches across the parking lot -- I had a mean hankering for a Veggie 6-inch before jumping behind the wheel again.
