So, this is not a four diamond property, but is still one of the nicer hotels around, I think. Especially, for the price.
I've been staying with out of town friends on occasion because I find I work very well at hotels. Strange? Me thinks so.
Anyway, this room is a suite, complete with living room and bedroom! So cool! Decor is ultra nice and modern. They have not 1, but 2 hot tubs ... and a sauna!
And if all of this just weren't enough ... they have snacks available at the front lobby area. Good ones. Well, better than chips anyway, like Taco Bell in a microwavable container. I had no idea such thing even existed.
What next? A world run by 1s and 0s and half eaten apples?

Me loves when you walk in and there is no one to greet you and all you see is the bookcase where people staying there can get the Taco Bell Enchilada microwavable dinner ( me says no thank you ).
Came for an event and while the place was clean bathroom counters were so wet that my purse needed a towel.
I love conference rooms but the funky L- shape was just bad with the water dispenser on a bare table and the cheese plate next to the hot lamp.
Air Conditioner was running and that was a good thing...because of all the hot waiters...
Didn't find what I was looking for but nice rooms for under $80 make it worthwhile.
There are two separate buildings that make up the Ramada Inn -- the main one and the separate one that looks like a motel.
There weren't any non-smoking rooms available at the main building, so my hunny and I ended up at the building that looks like a motel. We were assigned a room all the way to the back which faces Motel 6. Nice, I couldn't have asked for a better view! (note the sarcasm) The freeway noise wasn't that bad but still noticeable.
For $76 a night, couldn't really complain as we only needed a place to stay because we had an 8 am training class the next day.
Check-in was quick. They gave us a coupon for a complimentary drink at the bar, free parking (yay Sactown!), and free HOT breakfast (eggs, bacon, house potatoes, make-your-own waffles).
Who says nothing is free anymore these days?

Wow. Seriously, I just went on a cross country roadtrip and this Ramada in Sacramento was the least expensive hotel we stayed in. $69 for a King in a major city is unheard of! They held true to their rate and had a great breakfast to follow through. The staff was nice too!
I needed to stay in West Sacramento for two nights to attend my husband's graduation and I found a $67 per night rate on http://Expedia.com for this Ramada, so I was game. I was also a little apprehensive because I couldn't find many reviews, but for that price and the fact that it had been recently remodeled, well, I couldn't pass that up.
Upon my arrival, I found that my reservation had been semi-lost (they had it on a sheet of paper but not in the computer). This meant that they did not have any non-smoking king bed rooms left. BUT, they then upgraded me to a suite! Woo hoo!
The suite was pretty nice: sitting room with a couch, TV (HBO!), desk, etc. The bedroom basically just had a bed but it was very comfy. The bathroom was nice except for the weird mat in the shower.
One funny thing that my husband and I noticed was that everything was slightly askew, as if a one-eyed, cracked out construction worker did the job.
Last, but certainly not least, is the free breakfast! This is no typical continental breakfast, my friends! We're talking eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, pastries, bagels, yogurt and much more! Even a lady that pours your coffee right after you take the last sip (I guess that's called a waitress but you don't have to give her any money)!
My review might have been 3 stars if not for the top floor suite, but I guess that's how I roll now.

Stayed here for 1 night so we didn't have to drive home to the Bay Area after a concert. I was pleasantly surprised about the Inn being that we paid under $80 for it. Clean rooms/bathroom, clean maintained property. The staff is friendly but could work a little on their people skills. What sold me is the FREE breakfast, not that crappy continental stuff that some hotels/inns pass off as a free breakfast, we're talking about bacon, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles(you make it), breads, muffins, coffee, oj, cranberry juice and milk. They offered us a shuttle to our venue for $10 each way(we split it with another group). Not bad since I knew we were going to do some serious drinking. It obviously lacks some amenities that a 4-5 star has but what you pay to stay here is well worth it, especially with the breakfast.

Apparently this place used to be a Best Western - it shows in the rooms. They look similar to my first apartment and for the low corporate rate (56.99) per night, I'm pretty sure the monthly total is close to my old rent. ( That's a San Diego joke...)
More to come on this review later but for now I'd just like to state the obvious that the shower makes or breaks a hotel room in my opinion. I could have a broken TV or even a smoking room but if the shower is in good order with decent pressure, I'm sold. This shower is on point. They use those weird cloth shower curtains with the curved shower rods though and I never quite know what to do with those. Water gets all over the floor whether you drape the curtain in the tub with you or not. Shoddy design, I suppose.
$7 pitchers in the hotel bar downstairs. Can't go wrong, so far. We'll see if the stars hold up through the next four days.

I was very pleased about everything Ramada had going on and how their staff was personable and always right there if I should need. Yet after reading Alena M. from Livermoor Cal. I have to say my whole perspective of complemtary breakfast has changed. They have everything, hot food, cold food and SERVICE that was behond what I get going to a Dennys, those girls are right on it and DO DESERVE A TIP!!!,they get your coffee, tea, hotcholate, you seat yourself, shes picking up and cleaning the table quickly, with silverware, since the turnover for breakfast is anywhere from 50-400 people from what I saw in a single morning. So I say Thank-you all at the Ramada
