I like the space here, it's open and great for dining. The service is on point with little interruption and the perfect dose of friendliness. I've really only had the burgers and beer at any of these locations but they are damn good each and every time. I love the Buttface ale and usually prefer dark ambers, so that is saying a lot.
This is a good spot for copping a squat and watching a game, drinking beers with friends and/or grabbing lunch or dinner. A few families were seated during the lunch I had here but I feel like it's more the college kid type scene rather than family oriented. To each their own I guess.
Horrible experience.
Came in and requested if we could sit in a booth, the hostess said that we could instead sit at one of those tables in the middle, and when a booth opens up, then we would be able to move. She let the server know, and we also let the server know. The area where we were sitting had a really cold draft for some reason. Anyways, we notice one of the 3 booths that our server had, open up, and the hostess sat another couple there. wtf? Didn't we just have this conversation?
Anyways, about 20 minutes later our food finally arrives and we move to the booth. The server totally inappropriate asks my wife if she would like some hot water to drink, because she was so cold. *WTH? That really torqued me off, maybe he was just trying to be funny, who knows, he did seem annoyed that he had to move us.
So it just got worse. The clam chowder was really cold, and the waffle fries were barely even cooked (They looked white, and felt cold). So I went up to the server, asked him to remove the chowder off the bill, and if we could get another batch of waffle fries.
Do you think this batch would be good? NOPE, still cold and not well cooked at all, finally he comes over and makes some excuses (They had a big party/only one guy on the deep fryer yadda yadda).
At this point we are extremely pissed, and left soon after that. Honestly should have taken a discount at the VERY least off of her meal, no, paid full price on the meal.
Bad form.
Nice happy hour. Good amber. Pleasant, clean atmosphere. Service good.
Spacious, but still very noisy. Came here for a beer after work with friends and we had a couple orders of zingers.
It's clean inside and we were able to walk right in and get a seat. But the staff wasn't very good and not only did they not have the right booze for our first order, but the first round ended up being something different than what we ordered. It went back and we began anew.
I didn't have high expectations, but our experience didn't even rate an average. I musta been grumpy or something.
This place was really quite good! We got an appetizer and entrees that were all very good. The beer was FANTASTIC! The service was very un-personal but the food/beer made up for it.
My friends and I stop in here sometimes when I'm working in the area. It's pretty nice for a chain brewery. It's a great place to get together with friends.
My only real compaint would be that they sometimes get so busy that there is a long wait.
My last time in, I saw that they were using OpenTable at the host stand and have started taking online reservations. Next time I'll definately make a reservation beforehand so I don't have to wait so long for a table.
Not bad at all. I don't know much about "puke it all up", but I think this is probably one of the better spots to go around there. Pretty trendy and generic chain.
As far as food, we had most of the appetizers. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken strips and nachos. Fried Mozzarella was not good. Calamari and Crab and Artichoke dip were average.
I only had IPA for beer. It was good, but not as hoppy as my favorite, Redhook IPA.
Whenever I'm in town (having grown up in Puyallup) I tend to meet some of my friends at The Ram. Don't expect fine dining or world class drinks, but if you're looking for a chill place to grab a few drinks, maybe play some pool, and people watch - this place is for you. Not to mention they have a WSU banner up in there, which makes it that much better!! GO COUGS!
Good Beer, Good drinks, Good service. What more can you ask for?
Just your average All-American chain restaurant. Nothing spectacular in my book - and I'm not THAT picky, either. It is, however, pretty family friendly and for that, they are deserving of that 3rd star. When you have a one year old that likes to cause a ruckus as they often do - then you'll understand why we choose such an establishment when hungry...and desperate.
This is a fun [yet trendy :( ] place to come for drinks. There's a drink special every night and Sunday nights after 10 pm your entire check is half off! Mondays is half price appetizers too! Highly recommend. The people here are nice but nothing special, drinks are usually stiff.
Eh. Meh. Bleh. The Ram is ridiculous, but it has it's high points. Specials every day regarding something on the menu... and pretty clean environment... but waaaaay too many t.v.'s and sports fanatics. Most people I know come here to get drunk, I'd prefer the bar. Food isn't spectacular - definitely try dinner elsewhere. And there's local sports groups paraphenalia EVERYWHERE. Mildly scary toss back to the high school days. Jocks, anyone?
Descent beer and food. I really Love the porter with their fish and chips. A little spendy for what you get but still not bad.
