So, we had another dog event this weekend, and following tradition, we had RailRoad BBQ. The food was good, though our piece of brisket was the end piece and kind of tough.
Also, following tradition, the ladies who run bbq came out to watch the dogs for a bit. Spectators are always welcome. On Sunday of our event, they came out with a gigantic platter of "leftover" brisket. It was just brisket from the day before. Smoky, yummy, and tasty! The platter weighed at least 15 pounds, to which the handlers and the dogs devoured. There was still about 8 lbs left at the end. I'll be eating that for the next 2 months. :o)

I'm giving these guys 3 stars, b/c I've only been here once and there is a slight chance in Hades that maybe the 2nd time will be better.
First of all, they messed up our order. I swear she wrote everything down, rang it all up, we paid and then my husband's food just never came. Then we went up to the counter to ask about it and she said she never heard his order which makes no sense, but he'd already eaten a plate of fried cheese so he wasn't hungry enough to wait again for a plate of meat.
I had smoked turkey, which when it is good, is one of my favorite things to eat. It was not good here. It just tasted very dry and not so fresh. My daughter had chicken and it was ok. Our friends had the brisket and it was just ok. I would definitely not drive all the way out here if you have a hankering for some good bbq.
Nothing about the experience was memorable, except for the atmosphere and the sweet tea. It was excellent.

Good outdoor deck if you live out in the middle of nowhere and need a place to have a party. This place is the kind of place that serves food filled with "love". The kind of love that will kill you. I would complement the fried fish and bbq but seriously, who can't smoke a piece of meat of run a fryer? Skip it and get a salad.
