Raffy's is an ode to an individual's determination to have a restaurant. There are many personal touches in the decorating style (one can tell it's been decorated well, but on a budget). I can't comment on much since I'm a vegetarian, and the only vegetarian thing they offer is a sandwich. It's a roasted portabello sandwich, and it's really delish. Also, it comes without cheese, which is great, because so many vegetarian things are just smothered in the stuff. I appreciate being able to get a healthy meal. They have homemade potato chips which are really quite good, also.
They have teevees in the floor and around the bar, and then a classier dining section.
They do offer a lot in the way of standard American/Baltimore fare. Think crabcakes, rockfish, and pasta. I believe the owner is South American (not sure which country, maybe Argentina?) and so you will see some of this influence as well.
Nice place to take guests from out of town for a quick weeknight dinner.

I had heard about this place somewhere and so I checked out their website and signed up for the email club. They sent me a belated birthday postcard for $10 off. So it was about to expire so we thought we would check it out.
Now my first impression as we walked in was nice. The dining room was very nicely decorated with the square mirrors and great colors with a very modern look. They had these 2 garage doors that open into the lounge and they have a separate banquet room.
They have a very large menu with lots of starters. We noticed someone's wings as they went by and thought we would try them. (They serve all their food on great shaped plates.) So we got the Raffy's Wings $7.99- buffalo style. they were very good and spicy!
For dinner I had the Chicken Raffaele $16.99 which was sauteed chicken topped with asparagus and lump crab meat in a sherry cream sauce. It was ok- my first bit the sauce was great but as I kept eating it turned out to be average and nothing to write home about. I am not sure if I would get it again- I was a bit disappointed with it. The hubby had the Blackened Chicken Pasta $14.99- Cajun Alfredo, blackened chicken over a bead of penne. They said it was served with garlic bread but when it came the garlic bread was very small. I didnt taste it but he said it was good- a bit above average.
Overall the food was average- I would give it 2.5/3 stars out of 5. I would go back another time to try something else and see if it was any better. The did have some nice sounding specials everyday for $9.99
